Has anyone read this book and attempted this program with success? Please, give me a review of this book and results from this program. I am thinking about trying this program. Thanks.

I have the book. The book is good and not too complicated, with some good testimonials and pics. A good one third of the book concentrates on getting you mentally and emotionally prepared to commit to losing weight. Weight loss success stories are sprinkled throughout the book. Most of the book is focused on the exercise: for 12 weeks you do functional edxercises, weight training, and aerobics (at the beginner, middle, or advanced levels). Each week, you raise your reps, add mores routines, minutes of aerobics, or amount of weights. He does not advocate a "diet", but gives you five or six eating rules (like no alcohol, no eating after a set time of day, etc.); however, he does review certain popular diets (for filler, in my opinion). In the exercise area, he gives good advice on types of aerobic exercises, how to do the functional and weight training exercises, and other info. I suggest just getting the book from the library (it is not worth buying; after you've had it a month, you should know what to do by heart). I'm "off the wagon" now, but by week 3 or 4 on the program, I'd lost ten pounds. If you have never exercised before, this will kick your butt; if you are already doing at least 3x a week of aerobics, it will be a nice challenge.
