Birth Control for acne?

Hi Ladies,

I was wondering if anyone is taking BC to control acne? My doctor gave me Ortho Tri Cyclin Lo, but I did not start to take it because I'm afriad.

I took the regular ortho tri cyclin a few years ago and it really did make my skin clear and glowing. I mean clear. No break outs at all. Try it. If you don't like it after a few cycles, than try another pill or something else.

I also take Ortho Tri Cyclin and my skin is very clear. It's also the only BC pill that I've taken that didn't make me sick on the stomach.

Birth control pills helped with my acne a few months before and a few months after I took Accutane. I used Ovcon-35. I'm not on them anymore, I was only on them for the Accutane treatment.

I've been taking them off and on for the last 5 years, I had only used Alesse before but it was turning me into a she-devil so my dr. switched me over to the reg. ortho. I take the generic version of ortho now, the Tri-Nessa. I'm assuming it has the same acne-fighting properties my skin is still good so far...

I've been using Dianette for almost 2 years and i could never give it up.
Those pills literally saved my life.

Thanks Ladies for your help. I started taking the one I have last week and I do hope by summer things will be much better. I'll be happier if its before that.
