Eat raw garlic
drink honey and lemon
Sorry to say but your voice may not be 100% by tomorrow.
A lot of liquids and rest will help.

If you've lost your voice it could also be due to mucus building up in your throat. Has that happened? If that's the case, you need to find something that's going to help you break that up so you can cough it up and out of your system. Also, for soar throat pain, I usually take 800 mg Motrin IB (4 x 200mg), spray my throat with chloraseptic, and drink plenty of warm liquids like tea. I wouldn't recommend warm milk if the cause is a build up of mucus b/c it is my understanding that dairy products worsen the case. I hope that this helps you out some.

Thanks for your help ladies. I definitely have a buildup of phlegm. I will try your suggestions.
Your body is acidic. You need to be more alkaline starting ASAP. I've learned that sore throats, colds, any virus cannot survive in an alkaline body.
Drink:
ginger tea with lemon and honey (ginger breaks up the mucus)
green tea (powerful antioxidant; in this case, the caffeine is a good thing)
other herbal teas
lots of water - squeeze lemons in it - very alkalizing :fat:
I posted this in the past but if you do not have high blood pressure, drink an 8 ounce glass of water with a teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in it in the morning and before going to bed. Baking soda is the highest in alkalinity (14 on the scale) and will bring up your alkaline levels quickly. Do not do this if you have high blood pressure!
When you do eat, stick to fresh raw veggies like those that are green and leafy. Raw salads will work wonders. I've learned that good, hot chicken broth (or real chicken noodle soup) works also because of the broth.
At a health food store, you can buy a box of throat lozenges made with slippery elm bark. I can't remember the brand name off hand but it is inexpensive and smoker's, vocalists and speakers use it all of the time to soothe and relieve sore throats.
As Chinagem mentioned, stay away from milk, cheese as they will create more mucus. Stay away from anything acidic for now. Highly acidic foods are:
soft drinks
sugar
coffee
white flour (you may just want to stay away from all breads for now)
white rice
processed foods
red meat, pork

Also, if you don't have a humidifier, you might want to invest in one. Most people when they are sick, end up not being able to breathe through their noses at night. Well, this creates all kinds of problems, but if you are already suffering from a sore throat, the dryness of your air will only make things worse.
I forgot to mention:
Zinc lozenges. These work exceptionally well and most I've noticed have about 15 mg combined with vitamin C (also very important). These soothe the throat while the zinc knocks out the virus.
Vitamin C. You may want to up your daily dosage until you get better. I've read that we pee out the excess so we can't OD on it. We know if it's too much because we'll get diarrhea. I always take 1,000 mg/day and have taken up to 5,000 mg daily without any problems.
Grapeseed extract - keeps your immune system strong. Is supposed to be excellent for our hair too. :)

Zinc and vit C u can't go wrong, don't be offended... suck on a lemon, not the one in squirt bottle, the fruit itself. I breaks down mucus like nobody's business.

I agree with Isis. Here's my sore throat home remedy:
Boil water mixed with lemon juice (about 4 tablespoons: opens pores) & add ginger root(which kills bacteria). Pour into cup and add honey (humetant that soothes the throat). This really works. When I'm sick with a head cold & sore throat or flu I add a little brandy.
