If anyone is looking for a new olive oil which you can purchase at the grocery store, definitely check out Goya's Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It was rated #1 by Consumer Reports---I found this out after the fact, too.

Have to say that I am a Goya fan. I use a lot of their products, especially the dried beans.

It's really inexpensive, too. It's about .24 per ounce. They have 250ml (8.5oz) and 500ml (17oz) bottles.

It's a Spanish olive oil and the flavor is incredible. For taste, it is the best olive oil I've used---organic or non-organic! I think the processing must be minimal because it looks cloudy--the way it's supposed to be.

Happy Holidays,

Jade

Hey Jade /forums/images/graemlins/wave.gif I'm a big Goya fan too.

And I totally agree with you... I fell in love with this oil after my Dominican friend put me on - she absolutely refused to cook rice and beans without it. I've never used it in a salad dressing, but it tastes great in sauteed dishes /forums/images/graemlins/lick.gif

I love Goya products. Their Adobo is one of my secret ingredients.

I've been using that for a few years & I love it! I use it when I do the baggie method, for cooking, and everynow & then I'll put it on my face for a few minutes as a hydrating mask.
