I got my first Coach Handbag!!!!

I am sooooo excited! For those of you who collect handbags, I just purchased the signature satchel in khaki with the matching wallet and the wristlet. Anyone got Coach? Which one did you get and how long have you had it? I really needed and nice everyday bag that I could put everything in and this is going to be perfect!

Congrats! /forums/images/graemlins/clap.gif I have several because that is one of the ways I treat myself. My first, I think, was the black leather hobo. I purchased it about 3-4 years ago. I still have and love. I think a may have to rock it tommorrow.

Congrats as well. I have several Coach bags and recently got a signature carry-on courtesy of the b/f. My dog has a Coach collar and signature jacket to match my purses since I only get the Khaki signature ones. The other dogs thinks she's showing off when she's flossin her jacket, but I tell her to shake the haters off her shoulders. /forums/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

I never treat myself. I always put my husband and my nephew and niece ahead of me. I'll buy payless shoes so that my nephew and niece can have "right" shoes to wear to school, because kids get teased for not wearing certain stuff! Its crazy but true. My sister was a single parent for many years with no help from the Daddy and my husband and I were of the mindset that those kids were not going to suffer because their dad was a waste. But now that things are better for all of us, I decided to treat myself! I can't wait for it to come in the mail! (I ordered from Coach.com -Next Day Air!)

Coach is addictive. I have collected a dozen bags over the course of a couple of years. Each season you get a chance to drool over new bags and give in to your weakness. Enjoy your bag.

I recently got my first one too!!! The version is probably years old but I don't care. It's something about it that I've always loved but swore I'd never pay that much money for. It's the old Soho Duffle bag and it goes with basically everything. I can dress it up or down and the straps adjust from a classy double strap to a long around the body strap for a casual night out. The original price was $238 (still ridiculous to me) and Hechts had carried it for a while. I watched it for at least a year. They were so pressed to get rid of the old Coaches that they took them out of the security wire, marked them down 25% clearance and dumped them on a table and put the table in the middle of the floor... begging people to steal them I guess. I stalked /forums/images/graemlins/sekret.gif that thing until it went down to 35%, used my %15 Hecht's coupon AND took by some $40 tennis shoes I had bought this past summer but never wore for a refund. I paid less that $100 for that bag. I'm still giddy about it. I'm looking for a nice brown Coach now. I love their style. I'm not a fan of signature accessories but Coach makes nice signatures too. Oh and I bought a Coach key chain. I couldn't pay $200 for the matching wallet - no way! So I went to the Liz Claiborne outlet and paid $7 for one with a buckle on the front just like the purse. /forums/images/graemlins/clap.gif

I really like coach bags. This is the only bag I buy. I don't buy gucci, LV or anything else. To me coach has a classic style that will never fade. At one point I had so many I gave some away to my little cousins. They were SOO excited like they had hit the jackpot or something. I've had coach bags since High School even had a big one I used for my bookbag back then. But I don't think I will purchase anything else.

Congratulations! I have a half dozen or so Coach bags along with some others. If you are lucky you can get some good deals on Ebay also.

I like Coach. I had one for years that a friend gave me that she never wore and it was very sturdy. I've never bought one myself but now that I get a discount from Dillard's, I will prolly be getting a lt. blue leather bag, or the patchwork bag from their holiday collection.

I am also a Coach fanatic I try to buy one or two handbags every year. I have been doing this for the last six years. I am searching for one to buy for Christmas. I like the classic black bags but I have been eyeing the mini signature bags. They are pretty nice looking

Congrats! I too like Coach bags. Actually I'm a handbag fanatic! I have about 30+ bags. Six are Coach bags, the others are Gucci, Fendi, LV, BCBG, Casadei and Christian Dior. I'd like a Chanel black hangbag next but they are an arm and a leg.

I own several Coach bags - all gifts from Mommy and Popi.

I also own a cell phone case, a belt, a wallet, and a crusher (hat).

My mommy has an eyeglass case, a lipstick case, an umbrella, and a scarf.

Popi and my brother own wallets, and belts.

We are a Coach family.

I love Coach! one of my favs.

You will enjoy your Coach for years to come. Just be sure to clean your bag regulary.

I just bought a cute wrislet from the coach outlet and a snowflake key chain that I have been eyeing for awhile. The prices are extremley reasonable when you consider the quality you are getting. Be careful buying coach on ebay. Not all of them are authentic.

How do you clean these and how often should I do it? I'm using it as an everyday bag. I also have the Wallet and the checkbook cover. Should they be cleaned regularly also?
