Dear Suede,

It's about time that we have a publication geared toward us that is very hip and upscale. I was very pleased to read the "London Calling" piece, which chronicled our people's influence on fashion in the U.K. I travel a lot and hope to catch this exhibition on my next visit to London. The hair and makeup tips were also on point. As a makeup artist, I sometimes get bored with the images in other beauty magazines geared toward us, as they either lack "edge" or the models are so airbrushed that they look like porcelain dolls. On a constructive note, I'm gonna scream if I see the word "bling" one more time. It was in your premiere issue too much. Just because we coined the term doesn't mean that we have to wear it out! Still, I'm a subscriber for life.
