How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Just curious. But how many pairs of shoes do you own? In the last month, I have purchased 4 pairs and am now up to 28 (a huge number for me, and this is after I cleaned my closets for Goodwill.) I am imagining that when I buy my house next year, I will be saving specially for a built-in shoe closet with the cubby-holes and everything /forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif What about you? Are you the next Carrie Bradshaw / Imelda Marcos ??

How funny, I just did an inventory of my shoes because I was putting together my box for goodwill and was thinking it makes no sense to have all these shoes for two feet. I'm certainly no Imelda Marcos. I have more than 50 but less than 100. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I must have some Imelda DNA in me somewhere. My last count was at the beginning of the year around February and I had 86 pair then (including shoes & boots). My last trip to Brazil I bought 12 pair so, I think I'm over the 100 mark now.

i'm with cowgirl over a hundred, i have like over 20 prs of boots just got 2 new pair and had my eye on the silver sparkly ones in the Victoria Secret catalog /forums/images/graemlins/look.gif

cowgirl did you get high quality leather goods there on the cheap? might need to get a plane ticket.

I'm in the 40-50...every season I clean house because every year, I think the heels are never skinny enough for the upcoming season /forums/images/graemlins/nono.gif.

I have no idea how many I have, but I do know that it is 50+, but less than 100 (I think). All my shoes are in so many different places it's hard to keep track. It's a shame since I only wear one pair of shoes.

Wow, you guys really have a lot of shoes! I'm more of a clothes person so I think I only have maybe 20 pairs. Maybe more, but the ones not counted probably needc to be given away because they never see the light of day and thats why I cant remember them.

I don;t know. Never counted. I don;t think it is over 50 though....but i ma working on it. My closet is so small right now. I just put my summer shoes up and I am pulling out my winter shoes...and I am STILl shopping.

Yep, very good high quality leather goods. And cheap to. The shoes that you would normally pay $80 - $100 for in high end stores in the U.S. you can get there for $20 - $40 bucks easy. Brazil & Argentina have the best leather goods at unbelievable prices. I always take an empty suitcase with me when traveling to either location.

I probably have around 80 pairs, you guys make me feel better about it. Slightly OT- but I just bought a really cute pair of shoes from Payless (Starlet collection). I went in there for socks and was really surprised at some of their items. I hope they don't fall apart on me, or destroy my feet, lol. Unfortunately this is in addition to the four pairs of shoes I bought on Wednesday and the boots I bought on EBAY.

I didn't vote in the thread but I don't own ALOT of shoes. For one I'm very picky and normally I can't find a lot of styles I actually like. I only need the basics {heels that match my outfits}. I need a new black pair of heels and a new black pair of boots....so basically the new replaces the old....meaning there could be shoes in the closet from years ago but they are just "thrown" in there and they do not count because they are out of "rotation" lol...I can't see myself owning 50 or more pairs of shoes....because they would be the same style over and over again so what would be the point? Maybe I just live in an area where the styles are limited I guess.
