I'M SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY PINK RABBIT FUR COAT

I was so excited I found the cutest Rabbit Fur coat from Guess. So I ordered it and got it the other day and I was SOO sad. The fur looks so bad on it. It does not lay down so it is just fur sticking up all over the place and the fur is rough. I guess I need to read better. It said faux rabbit fur. I think I am going to send it back but I love the style of coat. Baby Phat had one with a hood but I don't know. What do you ladies think?

Oh yeah and these are the boots I bought to go with the coat. Now the boots are HOT and look great on. I have no complaints about them.

The Guess one looks better than the BP one on the picture, but the BP one is still cute...it does look kind of bulky though.

I say go for it since you can always return it. Or maybe a store has one in it where you can go see in person.

I agree that the style of the Guess one is much cuter, but the Baby Phat one is cute too. If the baby phat one was a little more contured in the waist, if would look even cuter. Maybe you can get it altered?

Well my mom suggested steaming the fur on the guess one and maybe that will get it to lay down some. I think I may try this and see how it works. I really don't care too much for the Baby Phat one.

It's hard to believe that the Guess? one is faux. It looks so real in the pic. I think your Mom has a great idea about steaming. I hope that works because it is a sexier jacket than the Baby Phat one. The Baby Phat jacket is nice but the Guess? jacket is on fire (according to Wendy!)

Those boots are also comfortable. If anyone is interested they are from Steve Madden. They were on sale at Macy's for 80 bucks. A GREAT deal if you ask me. AND I had a 15% off coupon so I was in my glory that day.

Girl once you touch that fur that is the dead give away. Rabbit fur is so soft and plush. This fur feels rough. I am very surprised at Guess? for having fake Rabbit fur. I would expect this from a cheaper store.

I'm sorry to hear that. I like the style of the Guess jacket better but if you're not pleased with the material it's money down the drain. Send it back and continue the search. Were you able to find it any other place besides BP?

Personally, I like the BP jacket. You can tell just by the material that the it's made out MUCH better material. I like the shade of pink better too.

I usually love bp but the guess looks better. The bp one looks dead animal with no pop to it and patchy. The guess one looks fuller and more stylish.

I forgot all about this thread. I actually found another GUESS one in Macy's. This time it was real rabbit fur and was nice. It was $420.00 and the sales person mistakenly put it on the $99.99 rack. So I told them how this was false advertising and you know how expensive items are chained to the racks right? so I told her if it was misplaced then it was obviously misplaced by someone that worked there and that is not my problem. So after all the fuss don't you know they gave me that coat for $99.99!!!!! I was too happy. So now when I wear it my husband says oh so you wearing the coat you stole? LOL
