Has anyone ever heard of these? I have hyperpigmentation on my legs. If I get an insect bite (like I did this summer) it turns red for a few day and dark like forever. I hate it and was talking to a friend about it when she suggested skin lightening tablets. She has beautiful skin but says she does nothing special. She said she just washes her face and that's it, but she heard that these were great and said she would get more information and let me know.

I'm not sure about it. I couldn't find anything when I tried to google the subject. What do you ladies think?

IMO it sounds dangerous but that's just me.

I dunno about the tablets. They haven't been around very long and I'm afraid there hasn't been enough research done to show the side effects. I have the same problem w/bites. They eventually fade if you do nothing but it takes forever. Maybe try a bleaching cream applied w/a Q-tip on the dark spot every AM/PM. 2% Hydroquinone can be bought over the counter, but you can get 4% from your Derm. Epiquin and Lustra are good.
