I was a bit hesitant to try it since it was geared to those with dry and sensitive skin. I have oily and sensitive skin. But using this soap in conjunction with some acne mediation, my cystic acne is finally going away. I think I will use this soap as part of my winter routine. Thanks again to whoever you are.
I agree Dove Pink works great!

This is my new soap! It doesn't make me ashy and it doesn't break me out. I actually do have dry sensitive skin though and I am surprised this worked for me because it looks so dyed and perfume-y, but I guess it's not!

The scent made me apprehensive too. But so far Dove has been good to me. I like their day cream also w/SPF 15.

I started using Dove pink this week...so far so good. I was using the sensitive skin forumla off and on but this seems to leave less of a film and my skin is responding well to it. I really like it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I started using this stuff too. It has stopped the few reoccurring pimples that have been coming up on my face. A great product!!

I use the Dove for sensitive skin which is a white bar. Is there something about the Pink that is different from the one that I currently use?

Here are the ingredients for Dove Pink:

Here are the ingredients for Dove Sensitive:
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate , Stearic Acid , Coconut Acid , Sodium Tallowate , Sodium Isethionate , Water , Sodium Stearate , Cocamidopropyl Betaine , Sodium Cocoate , Sodium Palm Kernelate , Sodium Chloride , Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil Sweet Almond , Aniba Rosaeodora Wood Oil Rosewood , Cedrus Alantica Bark Oil Cedarwood , Rose Flower Oil , Tetrasodium EDTA , Tetrasodium Etidronate , Titanium Dioxide CI 77891
I see that the Sensitive version utilize more essential oils compared to Pink. Is the Dove sensitive working out for you?

It's fine. I just thought there may have been missing out on some special properties only offered in the pink bar. I think I will stick with the sensitive cause my skin tends to respond adversely to a lot products. If ain't broke, I ain't gonna fix it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's crazy. The sensitive has more ingredients in it even thought it's almost the same otherwise. I guess that's why Dove Pink works for me, because my skin tends to react adversely to almost everything!!!!

It seems like mine does too. I think I can safely say that this made my cystic acne reduce trememdously. I now have the whiteheads that's slowly going away. And I do mean slowly going away.

I like the dove pink better than the dove sensitive. My face feels cleaner when I use it but it still isnt irriatated. The dove sensitive leaves my skin feeling filmy.

Asummertime recommended this if I'm not mistaken. I think she said a lady stopped her in the subway and told her to use Dove pink and then use EVOO. I think that's what she said. I can't find the original thread.

This stuff is drying the mess out of my skin. No break outs, but my skin looks horrible.

Well after I wash my face with this soap, my skin actually looks ashy when I dry it off. But then again the oils in my face will work overtime to replace the oils in my face. For a moisturizing soap, it does drys my face out but I ain't complaining /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I put some jojoba oil on it yesterday, and it looked great.

I love using the pink Dove with EVOO. I washed my face with it first, then use the EVOO afterwards. It feels just as soft and smooth like a baby's booty. I just can't stop touching my face, and I have Combo skin. Not too dry or oily. I'm going to use this for the cooler weather coming up. Thanx to the girl who suggested this.
