I want some makeup tips for small eyes. My eyes are very small (in fact I have to consciously BUCK my eyes for photos...I know it doesn't seem like I am bucking them in my pics, but that just goes to show you how small they are, lol!) and I was wondering what would be a good idea for making them up. I don't like the idea of making them up so they seem bigger. I would rather accentuate without losing the actual look of my eyes (small, slight slant).

Well, no one is taking this one so I'll give it a shot! My own eyes lean more normal to small but I still try to accentuate them. There are a couple techniques I do.
1) For a more casual or day look I usually cover my lids with a subtle but different color shadow like a soft pinky mauve or subtle light green(Clinique's lemongrass is my favorite). Now of course these colors go well with my skin tone so you may have to experiment to see what accents yours. Next I line my top lid(not too heavy or thick) with dark shadow like a deep chestnut. Then I go over it with a matching liner.
I find that the color draws a little more attention to the eye but is subtle(the color is really only visible when you blink or look down.)
2) For evening, I usually do the contour thing. I find tha if I cover my entire lid with a dark color my eyes practically disappear, lol! Well not really but it sure doesn't accentuate them much. I use like a shimmery tan or gold color on the lid, than on the outer corners of the eye and the area where the lashes extend out, I dust a little deeper shade like a chocolate brown or even deep plum(if I use a light lavender on the lid)around the area. Then do the same lining technique with dark brown or black shade shadow and liner.
I am always generous with the mascara but I am careful to avoid the gooky look or spider eyes. I highly recommend Lancome Definicils. I have actually been complemented on my lashes quite a few times and asked what mascara I use so I'd say its a keeper!
I hope this helps. You have already heard these tips or done them already.

Thanks! I really haven't heard any tips since I don't wear makeup at ALL but I'm looking to start experimenting with eyes and lips when I go out.

Yeah, I find that experimenting through plain ol' trial and error is best. I use to flip through fashion magazines and find certain make-up looks that I thought would look good on me. Than I would sit in front of the mirror with all my different colors of make-up and try and mimic the look best I could. After I finished one, I would use eye make-up remover, wash it off, and then try a couple more.
Sounds crazy, but I stumbled upon some great looks this way!
