Actually I won it off EBAY. Here is the purse.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6715023036

It is a used purse of corse and it appears to be real (because I used to own and seen a lot of fake ones.) I escaped with paying only 56.00 for it because she didn't set a reserve price for it. It does need a few repairs such as the tab for the zipper and leather cleaning. I hear that the Louis Vuitton people will repair their products so when I get it I will do that.

I could not see myself spending over 700.00 for this bag so this was the next best thing. I think I got a good deal on it.

My EBAY experience was nice and I probably will purchase more LV bags in the future from reputable sellers and save a lot of money. I might not get the brand new designs but a Louis is a Louis right?

What do you guys think.

Laketta, I'm not sure about the bag. I compared it to the picture in my LV catalog and the pattern of the monogram doesn't match up right. There are two sizes of this bag currently being made so it is possible that the one in your auction is just a third size that was discontinued. If you go to eluxury.com and search for "trocadero" you will also see the pics. I just don't want you to lose money if the seller is trying to pass off a fake as real.

Well once I get it, I will head straight to the LV store and have it checked out. If it does not come out to be real, I will send it back to the lady report her to ebay and negative feedback her behind.

She had a lot of pos feedback regarding different items. If it is fake it is the best fake I have seen (at least the pics are) Of corse I would not know until I actually get the purse. (The lady put it in the mail today because I spoke to her over the phone). This is supposed to be the Trocadero small one.

Thanks for looking out. I will be headed to the LV store to get a confirmation.

I'm not sure if it's the real thing or not either...but then again I'm just going by the comparsion of the link you sent and the one from the exluxury site. The store will confirm it though.

Let me know what happens, cause that's where I got my Louis...I went to the boutique yesterday, and the one I bought retailed for $530.00.

I just looked at the bag and it looks real to me. One thing that the fakes don't do that real bags do is that the tan leather darkens with age...which is apparent on that bag.

I'm not sure about the bag...I would probably not buy Louis Vuitton from Ebay, but if so, I would check www.mypoupette.com (http://www.mypoupette.com) and make sure that the seller was an approved seller. Good luck /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

well you can't depend on that...i have a REALLY good fake cabas piano and the leather tans just the same...the people at LV even thought it was real when i went in the boutique...i'd still check though just to be safe..either way 56 bucks is a great price /forums/images/graemlins/up.gif

Well I went to the LV store in White Plains, NY and they confirmed that it was REAL. Yipee!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bouncy.gif

I am actually bidding on another one right as we speak. A drawstring one.

The bag did need a lot of work though but they said that they will replace the entire zipper and hardware. I will also take it to a professional leather cleaner to get it nice and clean. I love the honey tan of the leather /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wow, there are some real purse pros on this board. Good to know. I am not an LV fan but I do love Gucci's line of bags. At least I know who to come to for help. /forums/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
