Shoe size conversion:

What size is a size 41 european in american sizes? I keep getting different things on size conversion charts. Some say 8.5 and some say 9.5. I got a pair of boots in size 41 at a shoe store, they were in the 8.5 szection and they feel like an 11!!! They are pointy-toed and very loose on me and I usually have to get a 10 in pointy shoes.

Hmmmm, okay that makes more sense but I guess this shoe is just built extra big. I'm glad I didn't pay any attention to the fact thta it was in the 8.5's and pointy because I would be without my beloved boots.

I believe a 41 is an 11. I get 39 or 40 in European shoes and I wear size 9 or 10.

Okay an 11 would make way more sincee since these are extra big, but now I'm all confused! lol! I wish all the size charts said the same thing!!!

They are just Steve Madden but without the regular American sizing.

Almost all women's styles are available in sizes 35 through 42, (5 to 12)

So a 41 will be size 11

Okay cool! I was over here going crazy cause all the websites had something different on them...now that I think about, it prolly shouldn't matter, I was just curious cause they were so big!
