Hey PB...if I remember correctly, there's a lot of air in that bottle...and if the top of it is in the unlocked position (if it has one, I can't recall offhand) you do have to press it for a gooooooood long while before anything comes out. And it almost seems foamy when it does. I used both the cream and the gel, but the gel moreso for small individual spots and the cream for allover fading. That was years ago, though...HTH!
