I use to use it on my knees. I only saw a small difference. I think it's because the hydroquinone[sic] has oxidized therefore making the fade cream useless.

I use it on my dark spots on my lower abdomen.
It works! I use Clear by Obagi (http://www.obagi.com/heal/heal_main_frm.html) - its really expensive $75.00 for a 40Z bottle.
My sister turns extremely dark when she is pregnant and uses Fair and White Whitenizer (http://www.fairandwhite.com/) after 2 weeks of having the baby. It works for her very quickly but she stops after a month or she looks like she has nasty foundation on.
Be very careful which products you pick cos some of them are pretty bad. Before my derma turned me to Obagi, I tried the Skin Success fade cream for my tummy - it didnt really make much of a difference.

I use Glyquin, a 10% glycolic acid/4% HQ product that I order from a Canadian online pharmacy called Team Drugs. I use it on my undereye area and chin where I get pesky hairs that cause dark spots when I pluck them. I also use it on old insect bites and scratches, which turn dark on me. It works very well.

I use Black Opal Advanced Fade gel. It works fast and you can find it at any walmart or drug store. It has glycolic acid which is probably helps it work faster. I only use it on dark acne scars.

I have used Glyquin before but it was only 4% and it was an excellent product for bleaching my face too. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I just can't afford going to the dermatologist ($20 for an office visit) and then have her prescribe me a little container of Glyquin which was $30 with my insurance! /forums/images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

PALMERS cocoa butter SKIN SMOOTHING LOTION WITH ALPHA AND BETA HYDROXY, SHEA BUTTER AND VITAMIN E: Have used this religiously for 4 years, keeps my skin smooth and even toned, also has stopped back acne in its tracks. But I also use Dove Exfoliating Soap. In the winter, I mix the lotion with essential oils. Men always tell me my skin feels like silk, that's another reason why I will never change this routine.

A similar product is Exuviance Essential Skin Lightener Gel available at Ulta and online. It's 10% glycolic acid and 2% hydroquinone. It has a fuel-like smell upon initial application /forums/images/graemlins/perplexed.gif, but the scent faded quickly (thank goodness). I picked this up to clear up some spots on my shoulder and upper back since my Obagi Clear is too precious to be used all over. It's about $15-$20 for 1.4 ounces.

I used 2 Obagi products - 'Clear' and 'Blender' on my legs for a few weeks and it cleared up my skin like nothing else I have tried before.
