I think Carol's Daugther skin care line is worth buying over the hair care line. It maybe alittle over price, but I think it is well worth it.

I tried the Body Jelly, Love Butter, and test tried The Almond Cookie Shea Souffle.

The Body Jelly- Doesn't really have a scent to it, but i think it is worth the price. My dark mark under my elbows and some of the dark spots on my knees are disappearing. I may have some dark marks, but it is almost faded away. Plus, my skin is super smooth and has a natural sheen when the product fades into my skin. Very moisturizing and I think this product is going to be good for the winter months. $13 for 16oz.

Love Butter- The same as the Body Jelly, but with scent. It has a cinnamon smell to it. I like the product, but I will choose the Body Jelly over the Love Butter. The Body Jelly is less expensive than the Love Butter and it comes with much more. $18 for 4oz

Almond Cookie Shea Souffl- Smells amazing, I am going to go back in get me this product. I test tried this product in Sephora. I couldn't believe how good I smell and the smell stay on me for awhile. It is very moisturizing and it leaves a nice shine. I can't believe how expensive it is, but from the test try I think it is going to be worth it. $30 for 16oz

*I am also interested in trying the Sure Butter, Face Butter, and I going to Purchase the Princess and the Frog line.

Have any of you ladies tried Carol's Daughter skin care line?????

I'll have to check this out. Never paid attention to it because of the ridiculous price.

I've used the body jelly for over a year now. It's a necessity in the winter months for my poor eczema ridden skin.

The Body Jelly seems nice. Like a sealant for your body. Will definitely give it a go!

I was a long time CD user, and I started out on the MASH Mango Aloe Shea cream, b/c it was great for dry skin, and firmed the skin up, too. I don't know since it has gone corporate I'm not feeling it as much.

CD's "Ecstacy" is one of my signature scents so I have the lotion, the souffle, and the body butter. I like them well enough, although they're not as heavy-duty as I'd like . . . I typically use them after putting on my regular Jergens so I can have the scent. *shrug* I'm happy to support a sistah so I don't mind too much . . . .

I LOVE the shea souffle. NOTHING makes my skin feel as soft as the souffle does. I stopped buying it because it was so expensive. Sephora is having a sale soon so I will buy it then.

I have to try the body jelly.

I love the body jelly! Very thick and it works well with a body butter or regular lotion. I am pregnant and my skin is very dry and itchy. The jelly really seals in the moisture. It is a staple for me during the winter.

During the sephora sale I also picked up the almond cookie souffle and the body cleansing gel. I have used the scrubs before, and that lasted forever. Overall I am very pleased!

Just a quick update. I did get the Carol's Daughter body jelly months ago and I haven't been using it. I wanted to like it so much, but it just did not work for me.

It smells explicitly not-good, but it doesn't blatantly stink. But it doesn't sink into my skin and clogs my pores. It took me several uses to realize that's what was giving me painful zits on my back. :nono:

But I paid all this money and don't want to chuck it. If one of you ladies want it, pay shipping and it's yours.

I'm a big fan of Carol's Daughter body products. The Shea Souffle is one of my favorite body creams. I don't think it's expensive...$30 for a full pound of thick cream is not overpriced, IMO.

I also like the sea salt scrub, the soaps, the body oil, and the body butters. Jamaican Punch and Sandalwood Vanilla are the scents that I like. I like the Groove scent too, in certain products. Love Butter is a winter staple for me.

The Lemon and Rose Hand Cream is great, too. And the muscle aches bath salts--it's one of the best ones I've ever used. I do not like the shower gel.

For skincare, the Essentail Serum for Oily Skin is REALLY FANTASTIC. It makes my skin so soft and smooth, and brightens my skintone.

The souffle is all that.
