I started this diet that was post on youtube.
this woman says she lost 75 pounds in 2 months
and 10 pounds the first night.
She calls it the Easy way diet.
http://easywayshow.com/
Anyway the basics it's a 1200 calorie diet
700 calories come from protien Shakes 7 shakes per day
500 calories come from two 250 Calorie Meals
She works out 1 hr in the morning
and at night an hour walk.
The first day I did this I lost 4 pounds,
then I got stuck I didn't gain or lose for days, I figured my cycle was about to start so it was screwing me up.
Well this morning I steped on the scale I was down 8 pounds!!!
I work out and hour and half 3 days a week and 1 hr twice a week
So I don't workout as much as she does, but I may do more now that I have broken through my plataeu I was getting discouraged.
I wanted to get to the 170's before my dr. appt. this coming tuesday!
I don't want to get the over the eyeglass updown look I have gotten in the past about my weight:lachen:
So today I am at 180!! Maybe I can get to 175 by tuesday:drunk:
and I don't know if this made difference or not but yesterday I added
tea spoon of Chlorella powder to my shake mix:look:
I don't use the shakes she uses they cost why too much for me
I am using medifast high protein low carb shake powder, it's 110 calories per 12 oz and you only need to add water not milk.

Where do you purchase your shakes from? I looked up Medifast online and their prices are $15.50 for 1 box of 7 shakes.

I use the powder it last longer.
I have a 32 oz drink container. at 8oz per shake that's 4 shakes in one container. That way I only have to make two mixes a day.
ETA: This company combines shipping

If you plan on breast feeding get you Dr's permission. You don't want your baby lifting the car like superman by the time he or she is 3 months old:grin:

Thanks so much for the link! She's awesome!
I don't have weight to lose, per se. I'm just afraid of gaining weight since my coursework is heavy and I am taking the gre's and applying to grad school. I've been missing most of my normal sources of exercise because I'm so busy.
How do you measure the calories in your shakes? Do you just add the cal listed on each component?
Again, thanks for the link!

I am trying to be more strict with this. I use Myoplex and Designer Whey. I add a little soy or almond milk in. I got a new protein where you only take 2 table spoons. This I will be trying this week.

I don't know if this would work for you. 1200 calories is restrictive for people who has a lot of weight to loose. For others who are not considered overweight, I don't think you'd get as much benefit. I would think you'd have to go below this to actually loose weight.
I did loose weight by replacing meals with protein shakes (I didn't loose that much in such a short period of time. I lost 10 lbs in two months). I don't do it anymore because I think all the protein may have cause my cholesterol to go up.
