What do you use to keep your hair from getting wet in the shower? I need a new method because the shower cap I'm using still manages to wet my hair particularly at the nape in the back. This is really irritating for me.

I have a system....
I put on my doo-rag/satin scarf, then a satin bonnet, then two shower caps :look:
I know it's alot, but it works everytime  I've had my hair straigthened for a week now and it hasn't frizzed up in the least.

I will refrain from discussing my feelings on this.
Since I don't care about hair care or anything associated with it I have no advice, but qt's sounds like too much work. Thank bob I don't tend to worry about these things.
When my hair is straight (nearly never) I just leave it wrapped up in my scarf and keep the spray away from my face.

You're right it does :yep:....but honestly, it takes less than 2 minutes to do. I keep the shower caps stacked together and plop them both on at once. Works for me.

Also, see if you can get this moved over to the hair forum....you may get more responses there :yep:

I add a silk scarf all over and a shower cap. Lately I've been adding two caps bc I was getting frizziness.

I have an extra large shower cap that prevents my hair from getting wet. Not the shower caps by Goody because they're not that big, at least not for my big head but I found another brand (can't think of it right now) at Walmarts that's a good size.

I may have to try it the next time I straighten my hair.

detachable showerhead! it's a great investment, especially if you are showering with make up on, (say after work before you go out on the town, you want to freshen up without having to redo your make up) and there is NO shower cap for the face haha. So specifically directing the water is your best bet.
I've stopped using shower caps, unless its to deep condition. The detach showerhead helps make sure that everything from your neck down gets wet and your head stays dry.
