So I was at a outdoor cook out this weekend with my God-Family.... so my playcousin had a baby 7 months ago! Gavin is sooo cute! I must have forgot I had on make up b/c I went to go kiss his tummy and BAM got foundation on his pants!!!! UGH! I felt horrible, but the foundation color is the same as Georgia Red Clay, so it just looked like dirt, mixed with spilled Chicken and Apple's baby food, I love messy baby eaters! ahhaha:lachen:But what I don't love is me being afraid to hug people b/c I have on foundation!!!! God forbid I lay down on someones white pillow or something. It's just not a good look. Yes it makes my skin look flawless and amazing, but being paranoid I'm going to leave my mark on everything is not allowing me to enjoy wearing face make up. And don't get me started about how I can't try on clothing for fear I will get make up on stores clothing!
This is my face at the picnic http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l17/zajonson/IMG_4344-1.jpghttp://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l17/zajonson/IMG_4365.jpg..
as you can see the make up is not caked on. I have some moisturize under the foundation, (applied with the 190) then my press powder applied with my 134 Large Fluffy brush. It wasn't even hot outside, it was partly cloudy. I wasn't super sweaty and the air wasn't humid! Idk what to do except only put make up under the eye to hid my circles. But I love how flawless my skin looks with foundation on! :wallbash:

This is the million dollar question
I hate when the transfer happens, I was at church today and was hoping that the lady in the white shirt doesn't give me a hug:nono:, fortunately she gave me a side hug!

Let me know too, then maybe I'll start wearing it again. Foundation=waste for me:nono:

This is why I stopped wearing foundation. Not being able to hug people or do simple things such as using a telelphone without getting foundation everywhere was just to much for me. Now it's just eye makeup and lip gloss for me. I had bad acne that I was covering up. Now I'm on the acne.org regimen and it's working well. There's only a few acne scars left on my face. I now get a pimple once a month around my period and that's it.
You look so pretty in the 2nd picture. Do you have clear skin? If so you don't need foundation.

:lachen:I can't stop laughing over this. But seriously, it's almost impossible to prevent foundation transfer. It doesn't matter how little you use or how much powder you use to set the foundation.

I have clear skin, but uneven tone... haha my forehead is NC50 and the center of my face is NC45 and I have dark under the eye circles... No one can tell but me:rolleyes:, but when I have on foundation people seem to appreciate my clear skin even more b/c its all one shade.

No foundation
To help with uneven skin tone try wearing a non comedogenic sunblock with an spf of at least 30 when outdoors at all times and perhaps use a moisturizer with AHA in it once a day. An AHA moisturizer is an optional part of the acne.org regimen and I find that it is helping improve my overall skin tone and unevenness. Perhaps a little concealer would work for under eye darkness if it’s really bad. Most people have some darkness under the eyes though. Have you considered a tinted moisturizer? I’ve never worn one, but I guess it transfers too but not as badly as foundation?
I’ve given up on having perfect skin. Going through the hassle of wearing foundation just for “perfect” skin isn’t worth it. Plus it’s hard to find the right shade, feels like you’re wearing a mask, and in my case made my acne worse. Clear acne free smooth skin is good enough for me.
Your skin without the foundation is still pretty. The eye shadow and lip gloss looks nice. I myself prefer to just skip the foundation and wear eye make up and lip gloss.

the way I apply my foundation is like a tinted moisturizer, its more lotion than anything..its never thick of heavy... Those pictures are the worst of the worst... I'm not the type of girl who can't leave the house without make up on... 99% of the time I'm bare faced and free....
I totally agree that good skin care is the key... but I just want it all haha.

Prime, stipple foundation very lightly, and set with powder would be my best advice...what foundation are you wearing here?

Question, after you apply the foundation and concealer, is it really noticeable that you have on makeup??

Nope... I have on all of the above in my pictures... do I look like I'm overly made up? Most people say "OMG your skin is flawless!!!!" Idk... I've posted other make up looks on this site and on my blog, you can look at them but I don't think it looks noticeable.

When I used revlon color stay and maybelline superstay I didnt have a problem with the foundation transfering, I realized it was the powder transferring :wallbash:

^^^^ so after applying the foundation and setting with powder I would lightly buff my face with a tissue to remove the excess. That should not disturb your flawless look, but go a long way toward solving your problem!

I also find that some foundations stick to the face better than others
MUFE for example sticks to my face berter
MAC doesnt stay on my face AT ALL
