Well it's a habit that energizes my day but thanks for reminding me - DH made me take a day off on Sat and I forgot!!! Fixed that!
Nappy you are doing great exercising everyday with no day off.

i really didn't wanna workout today...i have been in a HORRIBLE mood all day...but i pushed myself through it (all the while thinking of the "endorphins" speech from legally blonde). didn't really feel better till i was getting ready for my post-workout shower and saw the slightest outline of ABS in the mirror...
...if that's not a spirit lift/motivation, i don't know what is.
oh, and i pulled the pilar card again :lachen:...in the middle of the plank jacks i fell to the floor gasping for air, and i just went PILAR PILAR PILAR and all of a sudden had the strength to finish :lachen:
Thinking of Pilar helps me get through Circuit 2 of BFBM (or whatever the circuit is where I have to do the 180s and burpees). Glad I am not the only one! :lachen:

^^^ That circuit is no joke! I try to do 10 burpees each round and yesterday I decided to really do the 180's. Before that I was just jumping and turning without the explosion! (just pitiful)

That circuit is rough, but at least it's quasi-fun. I maintain that the second to last circuit is the worst!!! :nono:

I like the second to the last circuit.....up until the point of the standing mountain climbers-those are not fun!

Hi Ladies, I'm a group 1er and I must say I'm really starting to get into Level 2..but my downstairs neighbors, not so much!! Guess all the jumping is getting to them. What are those who live in apartments doing? I don't have an area rug down b/c my cat would tear it up. Would placing it it down help the situation? I don't want to have to do lower impact b/c I want to try to push myself as much as possible. Any suggestions? TIA
BTW for those who have done the shred before does level 3 have this much jumping??

Yes, there is a lot of jumping in level 3 as well. However, you should focus on staying light on your feet. There is a way to jump and come down softly by controlling your joints and your feet. It's actually better for you. DH showed me how to do it. Just think light when you're jumping and look at how they are jumping on the DVD. :yep: I feel like good cushioned shoes help as well.
I live upstairs and haven't heard from my neighbors but I think the ceiling is thick :look:
Tonight, I felt like I was gonna die. This workout is harrrdddd!!!!
well i forced myself to do it again. I'm going to move on to level 2 :\
I dont know why.. but everytime I go home from work. I become braindead. And I dont think about exercising much. We'll I kinda sorta do.. but the thought lasts for like 5 minutes or so.
I got home at 6:30 and exercised around 9:40 :|.. Not to happy about that.
But I kinda have a weight loss I would like to reach... Do you think its possible to loose 15 lbs by November 16th.. :) my b-day.
You ladies..work sooo hard. I feel kinda silly.. that I'm going about this slow.

I thought I was being light on my feet, but guess I need to practice that! Thanks NappyMD.

How is level 2 treating you? To lose 15lbs in 8 weeks, you will have to lose a little less than 2 lbs a week, which means clean eating/calorie counting and hitting the exercise hard, but you can do it! You can certainly make it look like you lost 15lbs when you get nice and toned :yep:

Just did level 2 today. Did it around 10:00 PM. Had to force myself to do it.
:|. Level 2 isnt bad... I think its easier than level 1. Not sure why. But I feel kinda mentally tired to do more than that..
:| I should've done 6 minutes of BFBM. but i looked at circuit 2 with the burpees. And my mind said.. NOOOOOO!!!
I feel..tired : /

This week has been a struggle to workout. My goal is to get 2 more workouts in this week and do mainly NMTZ and BFBM next week.
I see changes in my body but this scale is not moving. What gives?
Okay ladies, I updated my journal today with sad news:
I "gained" all the weight I'd "lost" and then some. In eight days, I gained approximately 3 lbs. I'm working out more intensly than ever, but my eating habits are more of a problem than I'd realized.
So, now, 18 days into the challenge, I actually weigh more than what I started out with. I could say it's "muscle gain." But it's disheartening regardless. I'm now 20 lbs away from my ultimate goal.
My weight has been hovering in the 150s since the end of 2008. I thought it was because I wasn't excersing enough, consistently. So I joined this challenge. Now, I'm realizing that my eating habits are the culprit. I thought I was doing well in that department, but I realized I was waaaaaaaayyyyyy of mark. I'm looking into the Belly Fat Cure challenge. I'm half way through reading the large thread on that subject. I'll continue with this challenge of course.
Wish me luck ladies, it looks like it will take a bit longer to reach my goal, but I'm going to get there and maintain it!

You'll do fine at least you have a workout routine set now you can concentrate on the eating.

I fell off this challenge big time but I will get back in the swing tomorrow. I've made so much progress since the last challenge and need to stay focused.

Thanks, it helps. I was so certain my static weight was due to insufficient exercise. Now that I know otherwise, it's somewhat a relief.
