I'm tired of having my eyebrows getting shorter and thinner every time I get them done.
How do you do it? I need tips, advice, anything.

First I use to tweeze/pluck my eyebrows and that was ok. Then I moved on to shaping them with a sharp razor and that gave me excellent results and now I am threading them myself and once you learn to do this yourself, you will see it is the best method and not painful at all. Threading takes some getting use to so expect to mess your eyebrows up a couple of times before you get the hang of it. With either method, it is best to use a brown eye pencil to outline the shape you want so you can use it as a guide. Good luck!

I pluck them for about 1-2 months after getting them waxed. Now I thread them and keep them vlean by plucking.

I do my own eye brows... I have a magnified mirror and tweezers and do one hair at a time since my brows aren't thick to begin with every hair counts haha But..... my suggestion.. take a cheap white eyeliner pencil and draw the shape u want ur brows to be, then tweeze around that line. Brow stencils help. just trace the stencil in white an pluck whatever isn't white
I love Tarte's the toolbox http://www.tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-the-toolbox
Set includes brow gel, brow pencil, tweezer, brow brush, brow powder, brow wax, and 3 brow stencils, plus a mini mirror.
But they went back up on the price.. i got mine for $18 at Sephora

tools: eyebrow brush or toothbrush, tweezers, eyebrow razor, scissors, dark brown eyebrown pencil and brow gel
First I brush my brows up and away (if that makes sense) then I pluck any random stray hairs. Then I use the scissors to trim down my brows as the are thick black and long lol. Then i use the razor to 'clean the shape up' above and below. The eyebrow pencil is used to define my brows (only used to outline) Gel to set everything.
This might help

I thread above and between and tweeze underneath. The first time i did them i used a home made stencil and a razor. Then once the hairs started growing back i tweezed/threaded

I have been doing my own eyebrows since I was 14. When I was 14 I was burned under mb eyebrows my a salon who used wax. You can't tell now, but its a teeny bit darker under my brow bone than it used to be.
What I use is 1.tweezers 2. a razor 3. an eyebrow comb/brush duo, 4. eyebrow scissors.
I brush and comb my eyebrows up (toward my forehead) and trim any hairs that are too long. When they start to fall into place, you can tell which eyebrow hairs are too long because they stick out some. Then I tweeze in an arch. I then use a razor to shape and for the hair between my eyes. I don't know I cut this, it is so thin its not noticeable at all. LOL
There is a trick you can do with a pencil. You lay a pencil at the very end of your eye (closest to your nose). Where the pencil lines up with your brows, is where your brows should begin. Also, you can align a pencil with your pupils. Where the pencil falls (on a slant) is where your arch should be. Im sorry if this description isn't helping. I got it from a magazine when I was 14. You could also draw out how you want your brows to look in white pencil and trim around the pencil. This is the safest way. I have been doing them so long myself, by now I just freestyle and get the perfect arch. I also made some cash in high school doing a mean feather flat iron and eyebrow arch! LOL

I thread my own brows and tweeze. My trick is to get a 10x magnified mirror and do it at a window in daylight.. you see everything very well.
No, and I wont be trying it. I love the results from threading.

I'm too afraid for that. I have very thin eyebrows so I can't afford to screw up :perplexed
