So After 9 weeks of contest prep Im about 3 weeks and 1 day out from my Figure Building Contest Show (NPC CONTINENTAL to be exact).
Training and dieting has been intense but Im ready to hit the stage. I have three shows this season and I so want to do well so please pray for me!
I have a photo shoot one week before the shoot so Ill have more updates then. But for now here are my THEN (taken today 8/14/09) and NOW!

5'6 138 lbs 18.2% BF

5'6 126 12.5%
I still have more work to do and you will be surprised at how much work CAN and WILL get done in 3 weeks!!!

Wow... freakin WOW!!!! You look great girlie... What have you been eating and doing?? You can give me the short version but mainly what do you do to tone your back and the back of your arms?? I like your body cuz you look muscular but not out of control.

WOW! WOW!
It looks like you lost 5inches in your waist. Your chest looks great! Your back looks great! You've just made improvements all around..and HONESTLY..that's hard to do when you look as good as you did 9 weeks ago.
You are super duper tiny now, but fit. Were you expecting to get this tiny? Was that the goal? You are cut through and through.

You look amazing!!! Even your before pics look great! Congratulations, I know it came from hard work and a very, very, very, very, clean diet. LOL!!!
I'd like to know what your diet consisted of during the 9 weeks.

Oh my! That was very sweet of you! Well Ive been eating the same thing everyday for the past 9 weeks and little variance unfortunately which has been the hard part for me during the summer :nono:
I have all my diets posted in the Fitness Competition thread. But I have pretty much only had oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast, half sweet potato, brocolli,chicken breast or ground turkey pattie for the next TWO meals, brocolli and chicken breast or ground turkey pattie for fourth meal, protein powder and water in a shaker after my workout, broccoli and chicken breast or fish for the sixth meal and another protein shake before bed. I also drink a gallon of water everyday.
YES THE SAME 7 meals EVERY DAY.
Its been quite the challenge. This means no barbecues, no birthdays, no fun restaraunts, no festivals or anything without bringing my OWN food in my cooler:yep:
As far as my workouts, I weight train about 5x/ week a different body part each time. cardio is about 30 minutes 2-3x/week at this point.
I wish I were bigger:perplexed but its going to be a uphill battle putting on size. As far as back I do alot of pull ups (3-4 dfferent hand positions), lat pull downs (overhand, underhand, close and wide grip), push ups, reverse flies, bent over rows etc.

Thanks girl! See the above post for diet info. Oh and I have no idea how many calories I eat as I dont count calories but Im about 5'6.75.
You absolutely should compete!!! Its an awesome goal to shoot for and it sooooooooooo helps to keep your workouts on track!

Thank you! Ive lost about 2 inches in my waist. i was about 27.5 inches before and now I am 25.5 inches. Ive been working on my chest more than I ever had before thanks to my SO who insists on training chest twice/ week sometimes!
9 weeks seems so LONG ago! I thought I was decent then until I compare the pics and I see the big difference. Ive cleaned up my diet immensely and pretty much eliminated any simple carbs (bread, rice, corn, white potatoes etc)
Ive definitely leaned out and no I didnt expect to get this small but what is ironic is that I weigh less now than I did at my last contest but I look better and am more muscular which means I am more muscle than last time!
Thanks for the compliments but believe it or not, I have more work to do and things to achieve in the next three weeks!

Do you have a problem with regularity with all the protein or do you take a fiber supplement?
