i see a lot of threads on how to quickly get rid of cysts -- i used to browse them all the time until i came across someone who said a really good remedy is raw honey on the offending bump overnight. i have done this before and it worked, but i know that pictures are the best kind of proof, so this time i came prepared!
on saturday, i developed a really nasty cyst from falling asleep with my makeup on friday night (i try not to do this, but i stayed at a friend's house). i shrugged it off until my friends and i decided to take a picture in the club and i saw how rude that thing looked. i think i tried to cover it the rest of the night! saturday night i came home and not only used grapeseed oil and my desert essence/clarisonic to make sure all my makeup was off, but dabbed a bit of raw honey on the bump and covered it with one of those small round bandages. 5 hours later i woke up to go to church :look: and i noticed that it was no longer protruding from my face! i washed my face, put on sunscreen and some medium dark MSF and headed out. last night i put on a raw honey mask for about 30 min while i surfed LHCF and after i rinsed it off, i again covered the cyst overnight. this morning before i washed my face, i ran my finger across my cheek and could barely tell where the cyst had been. one more night of this and i am willing to bet it will be completely gone.
like i said, i know this works from previous experience, but it still shocks me when i get the huge monstrous ones and this remedy eliminates them in about 3-4 days. i have literally walked around with a cyst on my chin for 3-4 weeks before it shrunk. if you have raw honey, i think you should give this a shot. i feel like i have tried everything on these things, and i hope this helps someone.
note: before pic is with a full face of makeup (foundation, MSF + blush); after pic is with MSF only. i am on the right in the before pic, if the bump didn't give it away.

What is MSF? I don't use make up on face. Do you use grapeseed oil only to get the make up off? I have some and DE is my staple. I have seen a big difference since using. I made a mistake and fell asleep last night w/o washing face. When I do this a pay the piper the next day or two. Tonight, I would like to do something like use my brush as well. How often do you use your brush?
Can I put honey on face and then rinse off after some time? I do not have small band aids but would like to try this. One last thing, I just have regular honey, will this work? It says pure clover honey.

MSF = mineralize skinfinish. it's makeup.
i use grapeseed oil to remove my makeup, but also as a moisturizer after i wash my face (got that tip from Divine Inspiration). i have combo skin, which is usually on the oily side, but ever since i began using my clarisonic with the desert essence and following it up with 2-3 drops of grapeseed oil, i just don't get that nasty shiny face. i use my clarisonic every night, but on mornings when i had a face full of makeup on the night before i use it as well.
before i did the overnight trick, i would dab some honey on if i knew i was going to be in the house for a while and walk around with it on my blemishes like that. even now i do honey masks all the time, probably about 3 nights a week (learned that one from Pokahontas). they make my skin REALLY soft and clear blemishes too, so i would recommend them based on that. i leave it on about 30 minutes and steam them off. when i used regular honey, it didn't give me the same results for some reason (i am sure someone knows why).

i will wait until i get the raw honey to try this probably over the weekend. When you use the grapeseed oil do you mix with moisturizer or by it self. I will try this tonight. If my skin does not look clogged tomorrow then will keep because it is supposed to be good for the marks.

The honey gave you good results! I've tried it on a smaller pimple before with good results. It brought the pimple to the surface quickly (overnight) to where it wasn't under the skin anymore, but a whitehead on top of the skin.

hmm, maybe it works because honey is supposed to be a serious anti-bacterial agent.
But truthfully, I don't care why it works, THANKS FOR THE TIP!!!
I have been diligent with my Fish Oil regi so I can combat these cysts, now if one pops up I know to go straight to my raw honey.

just the grapeseed oil. 2-3 drops in my (clean) hands, rub them together and apply to clean, damp skin. as a matter of fact, i just did another honey mask (left on for 1 hour) and moisturized with the grapeseed oil. my face is baby's butt soft.

yeah, i read that quite a few times...i just don't get why RAW honey works so much better than the regular kind. when this 2lb bottle is out (i don't see that happening for a LONG time though) maybe i will try manuka honey. it's supposed to be even better.

I got it from the grocery store; Wal-Mart didn't have it but any chain with a natural section should. Mine was $5-6 at Harris Teeter, but I don't think that chain extends very far out of VA/NC.

Thanks. I ordered it off the net tonight.

I just got mine from a health food store and it was $10 for a 1lb jar. I think that was pretty expensive but I couldn't find it no where else....
I have used it for a lil over a week and I am in love. It took about 3 days to fight off my PMS bump, but it worked. I also use it as a honey mask. My skin is glows!

^^^ I second that. When I apply it to my face it feels tingly but after a few day with steaming it off, my face just feels so soft and good.
