If I don't post for the next week it's because I died while trying to do my own bikini wax and I was found half dead in the fetal position curled next to my toilet bowel with cold wax gluing me to the floor.


I bought Sally Hansen's honey wax kit thingy. It comes with a clear plastic stips. Should I buy a pack of the cloth strips instead?

Does anyone have any tips for trying this at home?

You have the melted wax thing? Be careful if you do because spillage is a horror to clean up; after many days of scraping and cleaning my counter I threw it all away..heater and all...rather pay the $8.00 for a wax at the salon{still fear that overused wax but...:ohwell:.}

No, not the hoohaaa. I'm not trying to lose my 'gina lips.

It's not super hot wax, it can actually be used room temperature, but they say I can pop it in the microwave for 10 secs to use it as hot/warm wax.
I'm thinking maybe I should pop a Tylenol. This seems so easy in theory, I can't imagine it being all that hard :look:

Nair Cire Divine wax is the only way to go for the bikini area. I do my own brazilians and it's the only product I use. It's stripless wax so it's much gentler, and it only adheres to the hair so it can be reapplied several times in the same area.
