This is TOTALLY optional if folks want to be private about their results on WW. I personally need to vent to someone about how things are going. I was thinking that we can use this thread to post our weekly (or monthly, bi-monthly) losses. I have never owned a scale so I plan to buy one. Today I weighed in at the school nurse's office and I lost 4 of the seven pounds I gained on my cruise. I began WW on Mon 9/6/04 (Labor Day).

Congrats! I had a doctor's appt. today - I have lost 3 lbs. I've been doing WW for about almost 2 weeks. What I love most is that I'm rarely ever hungry on this plan.

Congrats to all of us ladies!!! WW is gonna work for us.

I bought a scale today that claims to measure body fat as well as pounds...ever here of this? How can this be?

Is it the Tanita scale? It has metal pads on it and you use it barefoot.

It sends a signal through your body that measure the fat.

It's not Tanita but it looks the way you described. I read the pamphlet and it seems legit. Thanx Vev.

Weighed myself this am and I lost 3.4 lbs. All the cruise weight (and then some) is gone baby! I haven't been under 150 lbs in a long time.

Way to go, Cleo!!! /forums/images/graemlins/weird.gif

.4 lbs could be water weight, right sonya? I gain about 3 to 5 lbs when Aunt Rosie from Redbank comes to town. Don't get discouraged... /forums/images/graemlins/kiss.gif I heard that initial weight loss is common, then it slows up and even comes to a halt after a while. we can do this!!

Things are good, Cleo. I weigh again on Monday. Someone told me today that I was getting "too thin"....clearly this is NOT true...but it was confirmation that my body was changing.

I only lost .4 lbs. At least it wasn't a gain and Aunt Rosie from redbank is on her way so Im hoping that this is causing some water weight gain....Im still OP though!
