View Full Version : HIP Matte Duos & Loose Pigments EOTD - *pics!*

I noticed that the curiosity about the new HIP duos has spread, and seeing as how I already purchased two :look: (don't judge me!) I figured I'd post the look I did with them today.

Also - I've been slowly adding the HIP pigments to my collection - I found that a bit of saline solution really adds punch and staying power to the color. :yep:

I used...

HIP Matte Duo "Poppy" (the orange-y blend out above the crease)
"Striking" (the yellow in the inner corner and dark outer V)

Calypso Minerals Pigment "Limelight" (medium shimmer lime in middle of lid)

HIP Pigment: "Beckoning" (the deep blue)

Beautiful! I just love your pictures. I got my first HIP duo in Cheeky and I love it. You do such a great job.

Soliel you are gorgeous! You seem to be really good at apply brights that are wearable during the day.

I was thinking this as well. This combo wouldnt look as subtle and wearable on me. Great job!!

You should try it! I find that slightly shimmery brights are easier to blend than mattes, and that using a nice neutral taupe to blend the colors into your browbone really help tone them down a bit.


The yellow looks great on you. Your hair is gorgeous as well.

I like to experiment with eyeshadows in colors that I would buy clothes in, and yellow is one of my favorite warm weather colors. :yep:

that is sooo pretty.. I might have to check out HIP... but they are so expensive.. for a few dollars more I'd rather hit up Sephora or MAC. But wow your eyes look amazing

I typically purchase during BOGO sales at Walgreens or CVS, and Walmart always has the cheapest everyday prices.

The matte duos were a little over $6.00. Most of it (HIP) is under $10.00 there normally.
