Ok, when my mother used to go to Ann Taylor, I'd be furious I had to go and stand around in there with her. Then as I got older, I started to like it a little more. Now, I find myself buying a few things from there, here and there. So, the other day, I was looking at a Vogue, and saw this ad for www.iamanntaylor.com. (http://www.iamanntaylor.com.) There is some wonderful stuff on this site, so I just wanted to let anyone who hasn't seen it know so they can check it out. If you like the store even a little, you will be pleased. You can't order the clothes on there yet, but you can give your email address, and they notify you when it's available. I am waiting on the dress that Karen Elson is wearing (last row, 2nd from right) http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Oh, that's the other thing, the layout is so nice, with all many of the old real models http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft are the bomb! Plus, they're a real ego booster for a gal: I have to buy a size 0 top and size 2 pants when I go in there, otherwise, everything else is too big...

I LUV 'EM! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm a fan of Ann Taylor too. It has definitely changed overthe years for the better. I love their skirts and dresses.

Girl, I was feening for the dress Linda Evangelista is wearing, last row, last pic... that's #50. I can tell you it by heart without even looking, as well as her handbag... also the fedora that's diagonal to the photo. Well, I went to the store and the dress doesn't look the same. I was disappointed as if it had the same fit, I would have forked over the $149.. this being tax free week in New York and all... they also added some sort of top stiching down the front which is not shown in the pic. The handbag isn't in yet. While the fedora was available, my head is too big and it can't fit... DAMN that "one size" deal!!! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/nono.gif

mhmmmm...it is pretty...sorry to hear--even if you had a little work done to it, it still wouldn't be the same as the pic? http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif@ one size.

I am late I must admit. I wouldn't dare go into this store. It was synonymous with women over 40 to me. However, there is a 3/4 black and white coat that will hopefully be in my closet very soon. It's absolutely gorgeous. My friend and I remarked that it has this Jackie O. sophisticated look this fall.
