Ok, dumb question so lemme elaborate.
Heels look so uncomfortable to me. Mules, Heel Sandels, Boots, whatever. Do you buy yours a half size bigger or what? I don't want corns and bunions trying to look cute and then when summer comes that's all she wrote. Help me out. How do you ensure a comfortable fit for heels?

I just try them on. I know it sounds simple butI try them on and walk around in the store. not on the carpeted area which can make any shoe feel good, but on the hard surface. I dont let size be a factor, if my size is pinching my toes then I go up a half size and if if doesn't fit relatively comfortable then I'm not buying it

I agree that it's as simple as trying them on. However, don't ignore any uncomfortable feeling even if it doesn't hurt because after walking or standing throughout the day that uncomfortable feeling you thought you could deal with becomes full-fledged pain, lol.
Also if you want to wear pointy toed heels, you will probably have to go up a half size or even a full size because that's just their design.
And as was mentioned earlier, you don't have to go with your size. If they are uncomfortably loose, start going down sizes and if they are uncomfortably tight, go up sizes. Also some shoes are just designed akward and it isn't the size but just the shoe. If you have went up or down a size and they are still uncomfortable, it prolly is just the shoe.
