I have had some facial set backs recently because of pregnancy. They are happening on my cheeks and jaws.
Just yesterday I decided to do a honey mask and then last night I put a dab of honey on my pimples and covered them up with band aids and went to bed. This morning they bumps are gone.
Wow!!!
Now I am dealing with the scars but my turmeric ubtan powder masks should handle that pretty quick. I am doing the ubtan/turmeric in the morning and the honey at night.
I also think that not changing my pillowcase everynight like Iused to has contributed to the problem too b/c right where the bumps are is where I lay my head on the pillow.
So if you havent, try a honey mask!

Are you adding anything else to the honey ?No, just honey from the bee farm.
Honey (a humectant) is the best quick fix to dry skin, mild sun burn, etc. :yep:

I was just thinking about this. I wish I could do a mask all over but too sticky and thick for me. And I use Raw Honey or Pure Clover honey.

If you use a thin layer its not so bad at all.

That's probably why - I really like to smear it on. That would make rinsing a lot easier, too. I hate trying to get it off.

The first time I ever did it, I slathered it on and it started dripping everywhere. Doing it sparingly works sooooo much better and it washes of VERY easily.

Yes this does work! I did it last night. No pimples in site. Just discolorations :( I used Honey and Cinnamon though (and a little banana)

I've had success with aspirin masks too. It contains salicylic acid and it really smooths your skin out.

What are you using to wash of the honey besides water?

A honey mask definitely shrunk the hormonal ones I got last week. One of them is not completely gone, so I will try leaving it on overnight like you did.

Yes i agree honey mask do work . I typically do one once every two weeks or so. My skin is soft and has a glow to it afterwards. I sometimes mix a little lemon juice and little bit f milk. Very little milk if too much it will become runny. It works wonder!!!!!:drunk:

I tried honey last night and it got rid of a breakout on my forehead. Is honey okay to use daily? I think I'd like to use it as a preventative. Yesterday, I also tried a honey, yogurt, and lemon mask (after I let the honey set on my forehead for like 15-20 minutes). I made too much so I tried to get some everywhere. I even put some on my feet. :-)

I keep reading about the special properties of honey and now I think i'm going to try this. My skin is starting to misbehave, it's dry AND the texture is getting rough...
