I think for lipstick, MAC all the way.
I don't buy drugstore lipsticks, because I can't try them out.
Lipglosses are a different story.

Im in love with MAC's Touch right about now...PERFECT nude for me. But, I'm about to try out the YSL's Rouge Volupte lipsticks...heard they were divine!

Lancome's "Merlot". A rich, deep red. Not too goth, not too pin-up, not one bit video-girl.

Lately I haven't been much of a lipstick person but I do have my faves listed below...

MAC Honeyflower, O, Midimauve and Viva Glam V

I absolutely love Clinique Black Honey it was my HG back in the day. Which reminds me I will have to pick one.

My mom whose more into lipsticks have tried just about every brand out and have always returned to MAC. Her faves are MAC Jest, Fetish, O, Sophisto and Fresh Moroccan.

She hated the consistency of the NYX Round lipsticks.
