I had a fake pair last year (well I still have them). They look cute with skirts...especially denim or earthy type skirts. They also look cute over stretch denim. Also with a short skirt and long thick cable knit socks or colorful socks (have to have the right outfit, though). Also they can just be worn under pants because even the fake ones are very comfy.

i like them...and i wear them in the winter becuz they keep your foot really warm...basically its one of those things that u either love or hate...

i wear them with denim skirts as mentioned above and pants tucked in or cuffed( usually dark denim 7 jeans or dif color courdoroys(sp)...and colorful skirts because the taupe pair that i had brings out the color in other hues

Do you think they will be "in" this year?

Yep! I think they will definetly be in this year! especially since they are coming out with the red ones for the fall!

They are everywhere! Even Payless has the imitations! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. The only thing is that the very first people who started wearing them probably won't anymore b/c they have become so popular. I am one of them. I started wearing them last fall, and I swear I was the first black girl/first girl in my school to wear them. I tell you I got laughed at so much when I wore them in the "hood" http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Now even hoodrats want them! Go figure!

I never liked them. What gets me is seeing females wearing in this blazing weather. Might as well some Tims and a parka in 100 degree weather.

I thought the "look" of them were cute--but I consider them "so last season"...haha http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

the ones that came out last season are very last season...but the ones that are coming out this season are cute...
now the new pairs have different stitching and the sole is also different...and the width of the top too...matter of fact the only thing that is the same is the shape of the shoe

yup i am a big fan of season appropriate items...

I think some people don't understand that Uggs were originally created to wear in sandy places and also in new snow........they adjust to the temp of the weather .............so even though they look like winter boots u can wear them anytime!

Is that why they cost $400+ ? My friend lives in Australia and he says they get them for cheap over there. He laughed when I told him the US prices.

$400! I paid $160 for mine. They must cost that much now because they are making new ones with all that fancy lacing on the outside............

Well the prices went down. I remember seeing them for that much. I went to an Aussie site and they're selling them for $100 US

I got some shoes that look almost exactly like that from walmart last year. I got lots of compliments for a walmart shoe. My mama even went and copied and got her a pair. Teehee! Wonder if they will have the knock-offs at wally world this year???

http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/lachen70.gif they can be ugly at first glance, but they are so comfortable, I feel like I'm walking on air in them! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/king.gif

They were 400 because when they become popular there weren't enough for all the people who wanted a pair to get a pair. I too only paid 160 for mine but that was before everyone else wanted one. I agree with IMREADY4CHANGE, they are very comfy and soooo warm.
