I just bought the e-book. I have been impressed by his free articles, so when I saw this thread I was excited. So far I really like it and find it well worth the money. He is taking all the little things I have believed and that science supports and put it all together in a no-gimmick way. It's not about a diet as much as a healthy way to live.
I'm not sure if the PDF sharing will work. I saw some security and pit
act warnings in the beginning of the ebook :look:

I haven't read it yet  but I've heard about it before this thread. That's why I was so interested in the e-book.
From my understanding, this guy takes a different approach to fat loss. Many sources will tell you you need to eat XXX amount of calories per day, based on your current weight, in order to keep your metabolism active. So, if you weigh 300 pounds, you might be advised to eat enough to keep your metabolism from slowing down. Even if you're 130 pounds, and need to lose excess fat, why would you eat to feed the muscle AND fat on your body?
This guy says, hey, most of that weight is fat (which is not metabolically active, not burning calories, it just sits there :look: ), so why the heck are we eating to feed the fat we need to lose in the first place? Instead he says that we need to feed our bodies based on our muscle mass. Eat to feed the muscle only and the fat melts off.
I'm sure there's more to the book than that, including some kind of workout regimen, but that's just my surface understanding. :yep:
Basically what I get from it is that there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Someone who's 130 lbs with more muscle mass has more muscle to feed than someone of the same weight with little muscle mass. If you just follow general weight loss advice, and you're the latter person, you probably won't lose the fat that you need to.
GeeLove - Bless you!!! You are awesome. Thanks!

It's just a no-nonsese approach to weight loss. He doesn't really give plans like South Beach but he writes down what he believes is the best approach to weight loss and presents the understandable scientific reasoning behind it.
I believe the name is about using weight training to burn fat off - he's all about building and preserving muscle to get the weight off quickly. He recommends valuing your body fat percentage over the scale weight. He's an ex-bodybuilder and gives tips & tricks body builders use to lose weight such a calorie cycling and calorie tapering. I have this e-book and it's worth a read. He just put out another book and I believe that may have some kind of plan in it.
