I just wanted to share my experience with the product rephresh. I have been working out the last couple of months and struggled with the constant odor that sweating down there causes. After seeing my gyno, she gave me a sample of the product and I no longer have any problems after working out. I mean I still weat but theres no odor which was my main concern. I know this may be TMI for some but I know there has to be some ladies that suffer from the same issue. Also a friend of mine tried the product after years of suffering from BV and she no longer has any problems...The downside is that the product is OTC and a lil pricey. So if you want to say by to firecrotch forever, try it lol.

I love Rephresh, I've been using it once or twice a month for the past 2 years after a yeast infection I had years ago.

I haven't had one since and it keeps the PH balance of the vagina at the level it should be. I recommend it, it's pricey (4 applications per box @ about $12-$15 a box), but it's great, I'm never without it.

It's also great for women who are dry due to perimenopause or menopause.

What is it?

A spray? A cream? A suppository(sp?)??

Rephresh is a suppository that maintains a normal or healthy PH in the vagina. Off balance PH levels are the cause behind yeast infections and vaginosis. The directions say use one every three days however I only use one applicator every week.

It's a suppository in gel form, it's already premeasured in each applicator.

I have used Hygisol. It is the best refresher for me. It contains aloe, vinegar, and menthol. Its been used by the women in my family for years. Its is a green liquid antibacterial. It helps with any funkiness, and leaves you feelin very....very...very cool! lol

I want to thank you ladies for your comments on this product. I was just about to do a search for it on here but then this thread came up. I used to suffer from recurrent bv and wondered about the product ever since it came out. I don't get them that often anymore, thank God, but since it works I'm all for it. Thank you ladies again!

Thank you OP for this and those that have made comments. I had ovarian cancer and have had problems with dryness for many years now and have tried many things, even volunteered on a clinical trial. I will pick up some Rephresh this week.

Those of you that have been using it consistently...have any of you had that solidifying thing going on that they are referring to in some of the reviews?

Do you mean the "clumping" of the gel that happens the first day?

Yes, the recommend that when you use the gel to wear a pantyliner so it doesn't leak.

Other than that, it's really harmless and not a nusance at all.

Thanks...I was reading about it in the reviews from the link you posted. Then I noticed that I had it...luckily I did have on a liner. Yeah it really isn't all that bothersome...nothing a shower wont cure. I dont know why they were trippin off of that. Its definitely a keeper for me.

Tarheelgurl, I had a problem with dryness, too... just cuz I'm older I guess (40+). It solved the problem in a few days. I last used it several months ago and I'm still good. I might start using it weekly as some have suggested from keeps things fresh though.

Rephresh is pricey but I keep a box in my bathroom and make sure that I never run out. There is always an $1.00 coupon in each box and that does help (a little). I discovered it years ago because I kept developing BV after each menstrual cycle. My doctor told me that sometimes the vagina has a hard time restoring its PH level after a cycle. I swear by this product when it comes to reducing odor, dryness and even itching.
