How do you spot a knock-off purse? I really want to buy a Vuitton murakami purse and am looking on Ebay, but I don't want to be duped.

no problem...i used to want one of those bags (back when jessica simpson was rocking hers)...the main thing to look for are the right color logos on the bag, the hardware, the handles, and the bag shape..those are usually the tell tell signs ....you may even want to go to louis vuitton website and compare that pic to some of the replicas that you find online...there are two sellers on sell.com that i actually trust...they're pretty pricey but it's cheaper than what you'd pay for the real thing...i don't have a murakami replica, i have a regular monogram replica...i've been to TWO LV boutiques and they thought it was real..not only that but i get compliments all the time...pm me if you'd like to know their names :)

The mypoupette site was really helpful. It seems like most of the so-called murakami LV purses on Ebay are fakes. I mean, it seems like most of them are going for $200 or so, so they have to be fakes. Some of them are blatant from the photos and others are said to use photos of real LV bags, but actually send an obvious knock-off to the customer. In other words, false representation of the actual product you get.
I can't shell out $2K+ for a purse! And I'm not even really into designer purses. But I really like the print of the murakami. I would settle for a knock-off, but only a pristine one.

to be honest I would definately buy Louis Vuitton in the sotre or online at eluxury so you will have peace of mind knowing that your Louie isnt a fake. That is what I did.
