Lots of my clothes need to go to the dry cleaning and it is soo expensive. Do you have another alternative? For example a linen shirt cost me 4.35 dollars and if they are white I can only wear them once and opp another 4 dollars to go :( .

I use Dryel for some of my items--particularly blouses, sweaters, and skirts. It works really well and the kit even includes a stain remover solution for spot treatments. The kit also includes a bag for you to place the items in and "dryer activated moist cloths," which steam clean and remove odors. I paid around $10 for the kit and it has four moist cloths. You can clean multiple items at one time (up to four) for cleaning up to 16 items.
I take my bigger items (coats, suits, etc.) to the local drycleaners because the dryel bag is kind of small and I don't want to have to deal with wrinkles.

My dry cleaning bill is bonkers! I just paid $55 for 7 things. I am so sick of them! I can't wait to move away from here--my friend in Atlanta pays $18 for 8 items, so she gets to dry clean everything, even tank tops. Dryel sounds like it might be worth a try :).

My dry cleaning bill used to be outrageous...$6.95 for each item! I finally found a place that charges $1.75 per item and with a coupon only $1.50 per item. My clothes came out well, too. Look out for those coupons in the mail!

I know I am paying too much. I have a feather down comforter (full/queen) size and I took it to the cleaners last week. It was 57 dollars to clean it. I was eating in bed and I spilled BBQ sauce on it. Yeah I know :spank: But 60 dollars just to clean a comforter. I will only use it now on occasion.

Did you have a duvet cover on it? If not, I highly recommend getting one. It keeps you from having to clean the comforter except once every blue moon.

I pay $1.99 per item so the cost is minimal but I absolutely refuse to take anything to the 1.99 cleaners that is mega expensive! I was told by one of the really expensive cleaners that the reason they charge $1.99 is because the owners don't change the dry cleaning solution very often so it's like washing the clothes in dirty water. I pray that isn't the case..........

I pay abt 2.25 per shirt, pant, etc...and 4.25 per suit. It's a 3-4 day service though. It's okay. I allot $50/mth to dry cleaning.
