We get caught up in what's in and what's not. But ladies it is so unflattering when someone can see your pany line through your pants or skirt. Do u all agree or no? The most unattractive thing is panty lines.

You think so. I don't wear thongs everyday. I think it depends on the outfit and the material.

What about those who do wear thongs but you can see the strap because their pants are too small :(

Basically. Thongs are not flattering on everyone.

i wear thongs almost daily the best new thing is the low rise thong. You can wear it undetected with low rise jeans

I also hate seeing exactly WHAT females are wearing. No one cares that you have on a tweety bird thong so please stop showing them! A lot of females at my school wear extra low rides with underwear up to their throat. I thought these were UNDER clothes meaning others aren't suppose to see them :D
Any of yall heard of Spanx? They give you good hold when you're wearing something that a thong doesn't go good with. I had some cute white capris that were a kind of Spandex material and wearing a thong w/ them would've made me look nasty looking so I looked into Spanx. They're seamless, too. Go to www.spanx.com

:roflrofl: :roflrofl: I dont wear thongs everyday either. But if Im wearing a thin pair of pants, or a skirt that will show my line I wear a thing. and those capri's that are really thin....panty lines are just a no-no.

Ever heard of Spanx?
http://www.spanx.com/Shopping/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=1265
You'd think as long as this pantyline issue has been around, someone would have thought of this sooner. But they're a little pricey for my budget. Now, regardless of what kind of underwear I'm wearing, if I think there's a chance it can be seen through my clothes, I wear my own "self-made" Spanx. I remove the legs out of dark stockings I can no longer wear usually because of runs. I cut to the mid-thigh and slide those on over my underwear. (Sort of looks like a very thin pair of biker shorts.) And I can still wear sandals or whatever without having to wear stockings with my outfit if I don't want to. If that makes any sense. It works great for me! Definitely worth my $25 savings!

last nite on the way home, i saw this lady with a pair of thin slacks and BOY SHORTS! She looked atrocious b/c 1) the shorts were riding in her arse and giving her a wedgie and 2) they were THICK shorts :D

The majority of my panties are thongs--I think pantylines OR visible panties are a NO-NO. I have low rise thongs as well and well them with low-rise jeans and pants. If even those peak out--then I wear no panties at all...

:roflrofl: :roflrofl:. I think a lot of women don't realize how tacky it is when their underwer is showing throughttheir clothes. I have other clothes besides thongs, but if Im wearing soemthing that could show lines I def. pull out my thongs.

I agree. You should not be able to see panty lines. It is very unappealing and a BIG DON'T in Glamour, InStyle, etc. The same goes for bras. Not every bra was meant to be worn under just any material top.

I hate thongs!! Yes, I have a few and I've tried them, but I truly don't know how you all can stand that feeling of something in your booty crack all day long!! HATE 'EM!!!!
I would rather walk around with my panty lines showing than be all uncomfortable. Hell, if people don't like the lines, they don't have to look!! HA!!

I didn't start wearing them until my college buddies freshman year put me on. At first I hated them, they felt so weird. After awhile I got use to them though, shoot I forget I even have them on
I'm with Lindy. Panties are soooo much more comfortable than most thongs.
You know, I've only heard women rant about panty lines. Men seem to have no problems with visible panty lines as long as the outline is "dainty" and not "grandma-ish", so I've been told.

right? i dont go around looking at women's behinds to see if they have pantylines or not :D, i could care less, even if her panties are jumping out at me.
thongs are ok, i dont see how you can wear them everyday, especially with jeans. i think thongs are only a must if youre wearing tight pants or dresses or skirts, not with baggy clothes . it irks me when im at the gym and i see people in sweats with their thong up to their back

I thought maybe that was the style now (to have the thongs peeking out of the jeans/pants... Man, one day I was at the mall and I saw this woman; she was HUGE, and she was wearing these white knit capri's and had a hot pink thong peeking out the back!! My daughter and I just looked at each other like "Oh no, she didn't!!!" LOL!!!

Its the same way when u see a woman in a white knit capri pants with visible panty lines. Its like no she didnt. And there is low-rise thongs to wear with low rise jeans. I dont wear a thong all the time. I dont wear them with jeans, I dont wear them with loose fitting skirts, etc. But if soemthing fits me snug, I prefer to wear a thong. To each his own.

LMAO...u girls r cracking me up. Not all thongs r created the same. I would suggest that u at least try the seamless ones from vickies... don't buy any Lace ones (ouch) and pay close attention to how thick/think the thong part actually is. If it is too thin (and mostly thread around the material - ie. the pretty frilly ones) then they r not for all day wear and u WILL more than likely irritate the top of ur buttcrack LOL. 1/4"-1/2" is perfect... and it doesn't feel like a wedgie all day :)

I'm all about thongs, g-strings and going panty-less. I hate lines these days. Ever since my friends back in the 9th grade saw my granny panties peeking out the top of my pants and all exclaimed "Didn't your mama teach you how to buy underwear?!?!", I've been wearing thongs, g's, and commando. I do still have a couple of pairs of bikini cut and boy shorts but I rarely wear them. In fact I usually only wear the boy shorts when I'm trying to run around the house half naked looking "sexy" lol!

UGH! I am so tired of thongs- I wore them for 10 years as a dancer and trust me when I tell ya, when the fashion turned to booty shorts, the response from the men was allll good! The shorts flatter teh butt way more than a thong does, plus I personally have noticed that women with the slim hips; the kind that are kind of straight- do NOT look good in a thong, it emphasises the boy-ish ness of the straight hips (yes, that would be me:lol: ).
Now, I don't wear thin fabric pants and the shorts don't ride high anyways, so that pantyline issue isn't comig into play, truely there are times when only a thong- or nothing at all- will do.
I do have these cute pair of shorts with blus lace along the leg and I wear them with these jeans that have the worn out spot just where the lace shows and boy howdy!! Guys do prefer that over the played out thong:grin: !!!

I agree, I hate thongs with a passion! Yeah, they look cute until you put them on then it's a different story. I'm sorry, I have to have some support for my booty otherwise I'll be jigglin' all over the place! :Blush2: I hate the panty line too as well, so I usually wear the lace boy shorts from vicki secrets, I think they're called the 'tanga'. Since there is no elastic around the panty line, you can't see it and it gives the support I need and they're very cute as well :).
