Okay, so PB was raving about it and I said that on the next BOGO free, I'd get it to try it out. I got it from RiteAid today, they're having a BOGO free on Maybelline stuff. I got my 2 packs of makeup wipes and 2 Lash Stilettos because I was sure I was gonna love it... I'm not so sure.

It seperated my lashes just okay, but I planned to use it on top of my Lash Blast so it can extend my lashes. It actually does a wonderful job of making my lashes longer. The only thing I can't stand is the smell. :barf: I am sensitive to smells and I now have it on my lashes and am starting to feel nauseated because I can smell it on my lashes. It smells like chemicals.

Has anyone else experienced this?? Maybe the one I got is a bad tube... I dunno.

You can smell it on your lashes? Wow... your nose is really sensitive. I don't like it for other reasons. The brush feels a little harsh to me. Other mascaras glide, while this one is a little tougher, if that makes any sense.

Yes, what you're saying makes sense, and ITA, it is due to the brush. to me, the brush is not bad. The smell is fading too... I guess the smell fades as the mascara dries. WHEW... yes, my nose is really sensitive- I hate that sometimes.

you are not alone about that smell... trust me. i bought the lash stiletto mascara becuz it was on sale at target a few weeks ago. when i put it on i didnt even realize that it had an odor until i kept complaining about smelling flowers. i thought my mother sprayed her flonase! (lmao!!!) to me, it smells like allergy medication, you know how allergy medicine always smells like flowers for whatever reason...

the scent does go away after a while and its not very strong, but it definitely smells more than any other mascara i've ever tried.

for *me*, its good at lengthening but not as good for thickening. i guess i'll try what you said Hairapy and use it along with the coverblast mascara since that thickens my lashes pretty well

Awe Hairapy I'm sorry you don't like it.

I've been tempted to buy it too. My friend has it and she thought it was better than the covergirl lash blast. I've seen her with it on and it looks nice. She said it smelled like baby powder.

Funny I should see this post today. I have been using the Stiletto mascara for a while and have not been very impressed. I have been ignoring it for a while but I decided to put it on today, thinking to myself, "I expected a lot more from a mascara called Stiletto!" At least I like the packaging though. And I'm sensitive to scents too, but I have never noticed a smell....?

OMG, THAT'S what it smells like!!! I could NOT pinpoint what it smelled like, but yes, it smells just like the stuff you spray up your nose for post-nasal drip and allergies!! I knew it smelled familiar. I hate that smell.

soooo basically since i am boycotting sephora mascaras (since all i do is throw them away a few months later), i need to roll with lash blast?

I noticed the scent as well, when I tried it. You're not alone dearie.

I loved the brush, but wasn't wowed by the results. I have naturally long, thick lashes -I wanted SHINE. Where was the glossy, patent shine I was promised? Sigh.

I've been wearing Lash Blast and it doesn't smell like powder to me... it actually smells like all the other mascaras smell. It's not an overpowering scent and it fades VERY quickly. I could smell the funky scent of LS for about 30 minutes.

Lollll I never noticed the smell!

Btw DISCLAIMER when I use it on top of Lash Blast, I scrape away most of what's on the brush. I'm actually more using it for the BRUSH's separating prowess. Sorry I didn't explain that!

PB, I took pics last night to post (couldn't post them- long story. They'll be up tonight) and my lashes look nicer than I origionally thought- probably because the smell really messed up the experience for me. Anyway, they looked nice and the mascara stayed on ALL DAY. I will try it today with my LB and see what that's like. I think I'm gonna have to just brave the smell because I definitely like the look.

I really like Lash Stylist from Maybelline and have been using that for a couple of years now.
