I have clothes/shoes in almost every closet in my house. I lived in NY and got really high quality clothes for cheap. I also bought regualr stuff from the mall, but the problem is that i have too much. Many items still have tags. I have 100+ pairs of shoes/boots. I am planning to put the stuff up on ebay. Does anyone have experience with ebay(I need pointers on selling)? Does anyone want first crack at any of my things b4 I put them on ebay I have pics? Anyone want to do a fashion exchange? I have clothes from size 2-12. I have shoes/boots size 7/7.5/8 reply here or send me a PM.

Please, please take pics and sell some stuff to me!!! I wear between a size 2&4, 34-24-34, size 8 shoes!!!!

Also I am an eBay seller sometimes. My advice, get paypal so that people can pay you easily and fast (I only take payments through paypal because I don't trust people I don't know to send me a check or money order, also the transaction takes too long that way because you don't want to ship until you've got the money) with Paypal the money goes directly into my banking account.

MSP I just left NY and I love the clothes there. What I got for really inexpensive would be twice as much here in NC because we are so behind in the times. I'm small and very tall so I don't know if any of your jeans would fit me because of the length I need but I would love to see pics of your tops.

My homegirl did something similiar to what you are doing msportugal...

she sells clothes on ebay...
and now sh ehas turned it into her online boutique..

i told her exactly what to do business-wise and she took it from there..

my tips for packaging is use a shipping carrier(like dhl or ups)DHL is cheaper and you can create a business account at their website....get some boxes and then arrange with DHL so they can pick up your items that u want shipped...and if you are serious about it there is also a company that does POS(point of sale)items like stickers...for instance my friends logo is roses so she ships all her clothing items with stickers and stuff like that so it looks pretty and professional when she ships the clothes...

these are just some of the tips i gave her when she started now she is pullign in like 2k a week which is not bad for not leaving your house...and she is doing big things..

she started off just like you...wanting to sell some of her stuff that she didnt wear or doesnt use..and now she is miss ebay so...

good luck with it msportugal

We should do a LHCF swap, exchange, sell thing, I have a lot of stuff (I am moving, so I need to unpack)....

I agree! I have a lot of cute stuff that I would be willing to part with at the right price seeing that I am broke, lol! I might put some stuff up next week!

hey LC...well i am more on the business plan end...i too am learning as i go along...the e-bay thing is very lucrative...in regard to my hoemgirl...she just told me what she wanted to do and i helped her business-wise get a plan together...as i go along i am learning more and more about e-bay...but i apply my marketing/business knowledge to her fashion knowledge-one can really do big things money-wise on e-bay...
my advice is to think about exactly what you want to do and than get all of the stuff you want to sell together and then... create a plan...think about packaging...check out the major shipping companies(ups.dhl.fed-ex)..and then research the retail value of the items you are selling...and then create your price list...and estimate your shipping expenses, estimate the profit you will get from your own price list versus the retail value..all of this may sound a lil confusing but if anything pm me etc...

good luck http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
