What causes this??

I wear sunscreen everyday but I've been slacking on the exfoliation.

Its frustrating to have marks on your face for no reason..:ohwell:

The marks on the sides of my nose bother me more than the forhead.

Anyone got a suggestion??

If my memory is correct, issues with the forehead signal issues with the kidneys. How's your water intake?

This type of thread comes up every now and again. Do you just mean your forehead is darker overall (because of tanning--it sticks out more so that's not too uncommon. Gotta wear that spf!) Or are there dark marks on it? No offense but are you overweight? There's some type of skin issue (forget what its called) that crops up sometimes that's a pre-diabetic thing and shows as a darkened parts on the forehead or neck.

The best way for you to find out is to go to your doctor or a dermatologist!

I was using an Spf of 45. I thought that was pretty high.

I'm not offended. I'm overweight according to my BMI, I could lose like 10 lbs but I'm not what people would consider fat.

I do have dark marks from acne on my forehead, But what I meant is that the whole forhead is just darker than my face. The makeup artist at Sephora told me a lot of black people have that problem.

I heard about the pre diabetic thing. I heard of people having darker necks because of it but not foreheads.

The people at Prescriptive suggest this for hyperpigmentation caused by environmental influences esp on the forehead. Ive been using it, so far, it's good. Use it before a moisturizer, twice a day.
