My New Foundation

Hey Ladies,

I just wanted to share with you my latest purchase. I ran out of my day to day foundation (prescriptives virtual skin combined with my moisturizer) and went to Nordstrom to restock. So I was talking to the girl at the counter asking her to match me up again to make sure I was still the same color as the seasons have changed since my last purchase....and we got to talking about liquid foundations...who has the best, etc. She was like I absolutely LOVE Armani luminous silk...it glides on perfect, it spreads evenly, buildable...yadda yadda....So after she finished raving, I was like...well ummm...I want that one! So she walked me over to the Armani counter, and the young lady there matched me and that's when it happened....I fell in love! I love this stuff. It's so beautiful on and it really does blend so flawlessly, and a little goes a looooong way.

yes, it is GORGEOUS. I am a 9, then mix it with some of lumnious fluid (has a bit of an orange/brown tint) and it finishes NICE. Nordies is having an event 5.9 and they will have GWP.

thanks for sharing op! I just caught a glance of my skin in the rear view mirror and I am not liking what I am seeing. I had planned on looking into getting a tinted facial moisturizer but fear that it may not provide the coverage I need.

I've always wanted to try this foundation, but I'm never/rarely at a store that carries it. The Nordstroms in my area doesn't have it and the swatches on the website are bogus for shade matching :( Yes, Im sulking.

It is not matte. It's designed to make your skin glowy/fresh, so its not going to have ingredients to make your skin look matte. I did like the color/undertones though, but I can't pay $58 for a foundation that I'm gonna have to keep caking powder over all day. I almost bought it anyway though, it was that nice. :blush: Try the concealer. Its good!

The downfall is it is not sold in all Nordie stores. I saw it on the website so I chatted online with customer service to find out the only Nordie's that sold it was in Annapolis, MD. I live in VA.:sad:

Oh, weird. Well, I live in Seattle which is where the Nordstrom headquarters is located. I assumed they all had the same products.
