Bumping... that thread was very interesting. I'm considering purchasing some of the products listed. I might not be able to eat that much if I do so, but I really want my old scars to clear up! :)

I'm not using Lazlo, but just using the techniques my skin is THRIVING!!!

Yeah, I read your post in that thread and was encouraged. I came to my senses when I went to the Lazlo website. :nono: It looks like good products but the prices are definitely prohibitive.

I dont really have skin issues but after reading that thread, i made the ACV toner. I do my normal oil wash, soap and massage skin. Then I just let the shower water run onto my face. I don't have the book so I dont know how many splashes I need. Then ACV toner and moisturise...
I will try thr splashes and see if i like it...

I've been doing it for the last 3 days and I like it. It seems to be pullling crap out of my pores that my face brush was missing. I still think I'm using the wrong soap - Dr. Bonners Castille and the wrong moisturizer- I've tried several kinds. I won a couple of new Laszlo products off ebay and I plan to stop by the CCO this weekend to see if they have any products.

Dr. Bronner's will dry the -ish out of your skin over time, i'm also pretty sure it messes up the pH of your skin. the only good thing is that it doesn't really break you out. anyway, good luck on your search! it's tough to find what works for your skin but it's sooo necessary.

I have really dry skin so i don't know how my skin would handle this much water, i'll try it though!

ETA: TemiLnd, your skin is gorgeous!!

I def agree to the bolded! I think Dr. Bronners is fine. You need a toner to acidify after you wash... Dr. Bronners is prob very alkaline.

This is supposed to work for ALL skin. Just don't do on part and not the other. If you wash w/ an alkaline soap you neeeeedddddd the mildly acidfying toner.

All I can say is my skin used to be oily but dehydrated. No more!

ETA: I think really dry skin needs to use a milder soap than most.

OP, I was watching your other thread and this morning I did this with a towel over my face. Like 20 times went the towel with hot water and I just let it rest on my face (the way you do with an oil wash) and it took a while but my pores opened up SO much and I was really able to release some of the clogging in my nose especially.

You've motivated me to purchase the book. Maybe I'll start actually spashing rather than using the towel....I know I'll have to get used to it. Thanks for sharing this.

OK, I'm thinking of trying the method with the following alternatives

Oil replacement- Castor oil
Soap-Highly diluted Dr Bronners Tea Tree soap
Toner- Premixed honey and ACV diluted with water
Moisturiser- Aloe vera and rosehip oil

What do you think?

Vevster... I love you!

Thank you much for starting this thread. I have been doing this for about a week, I didn't want to do a review until I had been doing this for a month, but I can't hold it in.

My skin looks so good!

I'm using my own products and I can honestly say my skin has never had a turnaround like this before. It feels and looks wonderful.
