Is anyone going to the Magic Show in August or ever been? I would like to go in August and need help with trying to figure out what hotel to stay in at a reasonable cost.

I worked the Magic Show for 5 years it use to be cool. But the show isn't really high fashion. It's mostly ready wear. The economy has put a damper on things and I haven't been since 07. I think Ms. Portugal still goes; you may want to PM her.

Do you already have tickets? Have you been approved yet? Because they offer good discounts for attendees.

I checked the prices out and I can not afford to stay at the Convention center. Did you stay at a hotel and if so, which one did you stay in?

I stayed at Wynn, Bellaggio, MGM, and Palms. They use to have hotel packages for Magic.

I've stayed at the Wynn, and the Palms - Palms was more reasonable, but Wynn was closer to the event. We booked via hotels.com the last time (feb)

Magic is ENORMOUS and each show is ongoing, but usually has a day when it's at the forefront. I like the style of clothing in Project more, but the website will tell you which brands are showing where. There will be a TON of parties, so if you're looking to get business done during the day you'll have to pace yourself.

I know the owners will def go in August, I'm not sure if I will though. I will try to make it out for a day or two, and then fly back to AZ so i can hold down the fort. :drunk:
