ETA: I actually like the Torrid shoes better... I like them both, so I ordered them both. They should be delivered today! The style of the SM shoe is nice, but I don't like the brown base of the shoe- I think it kinda clashes with the print on the shoe. I'm not a fashionista or anything... JMO :)

I wish the top part of the Torrid shoe and the bottom (sole and heel) of the SM shoe (in black instead of brown) was together, that would be nicer for the look of the whole shoe IMO.

I like the Steve Madden ones exactly like they are. I'd probably choose the animal ones over the green too. The green are too loud for my taste.

the steve madden with the elastic band looks nice from the sole, up. it's the platform that scares me. i like the idea of the elastic strap. elastic is comfy.

the torrid shoe has that edge but the heel looks nicer and easer to walk in. ankle straps can be annoying though. i like how the platform is black, not tan.

i suppose it depends on your tolerance. i'd go with the torrid heel.

So they came in the mail and I tried them on... LOVE LOVE LOVE!! They look so flyyyy n sexxxy on! I'm glad I got them both! Sometimes if I get a different-looking shoe like this, I dress from the shoe up instead of the other way around... so I need to think of what I'm gonna wear with these shoes. Thanks for your responses ladies :)

Those green Steve Madden ones are nice. I love the contrast of the heel from the rest of the shoe. It makes them stand out and it gives you a lot to work with.

I cannot find shoes that have the first heel... I like the thickness but not necessarily the front part... I want more to work in as casual work wear but I can't seem to find shoes that carry a thick heel like that.. :nono: What stores should I be looking in?????

Old, practical (po) grandma in the house. I wouldn't pay a hundred for a shoe like that; it's impractical and foolish (IMHO). So, I picked the top pair. You're a q t pie so whichever you decide YOU will be the bomb in 'em.

Been following your lipstick tutorial advice too. Finally found the nude gloss here in ATL. There was none at home (well, at the drug stores near me). Thanks, girl.

Awww thank you so much! I do love the shoes so much, I was thinking of taking pics of my feet in the shoes when I got them, but the light blue polish on my toes took away from the shoes :lol: They are the cutest shoes :yep:

I'm glad you like the lippie tut! I'm putting up some more this week because I've been neglecting my YT lately. That nude is 2Die4- I'm actually wearing it today with bright sunshine e/s in the inner corner blended into Heritage Rouge pigment with X-Rocks blush :) I wish you would've let me know you were having a problem finding it. I find that the shoes you find with the thicker heels are mostly on the sites for plus-sized clothing/shoes. The thicker heels are to support heavier women, but they're also good for people (not plus-sized) who like a thicker, sturdier heel. Also, eventhough they carry wide-width shoes, they also have shoes that are not wide-width. I know because I can't wear wide-width shoes, they flop on and off and look baggy on the sides of my feet. :lol:
