Ok, I started this thread from the February Master Cleanse Thread...
This is round 2 for me. I did a 10-day cleanse back in February and lost about 17lbs and one dress size. My goal this time is to complete 21-days or until I get a pink tongue....
I started April 1, this is day 2 and I feel good aside from feeling a little sluggish.
Oh yeah, I'm using agave nectar instead of maple syrup this time around.

Have you maintained your 17lbs weight lost from your February cleanse?
I started the cleanse on 3/29 and so far have lost 6lbs. Planning on going the full 10 days. I make my lemonade with grade B maple syrup as it is suppose to contain nutrients your body will need during the cleanse.
I have skipped a couple of days of the SWF, but decided to do it regularly as it is essential to get things moving and out of your body. The days I did not do the SWF there was no movement even though I had the tea both morning and night.
I am hoping I will be able to maintain a healthy eating lifestyle after the cleanse which will focus on more raw dishes, daily green smoothies, juicing, salmon and brown rice.

Yes, I've maintained by watching what I eat --- no soda or junk food. I lost 15lbs on my very first mc and maintained about six month, until I got preggers.
I'm also thinking about going raw after this cleanse. Well, maybe not TOTALLY Raw, but Healthy Eating.
You got about 4 or 5 days under your belt, GOOD JOB! Did your appetite DISAPPEAR after the third day?
I started on the 1st...this is day 2 for me. I have done pretty good so far today. I have done a good job distracting myself so far.

I'm halfway through day 1. I have to find something to do when I get home. I'm not hungry, just want to eat. The lemonade doesn't taste too bad at all. I plan to make it ten whole days.

Yup, pretty much no appetite after the 3rd day. I have my moments, like now I want some KFC chicken. I just keep telling myself I'm half way there. It would be such a shame to give into temptation now. So I just have another sip of the lemonade and make myself busy doing something.
I am however very weak. My muscle shake and tremble when I walk or try to move my arms....well maybe not tremble but more a feeling of exhaustion like after a good weight lifting workout.
I think this day...day #5 is the worse day for me by far.

Can you please explain how the bentonite cleanse works and it's benefits? Are you allowed to eat while doing this cleanse?
Day 2 down...had a slight headache and felt a little faint...
I actually felt better after I brushed my teeth and scraped my tongue...strange..
i didnt drink too much (I only drank 2 quarts) lemonade today, so that may have caused it.

I made it through day one. I only drank 32 oz of lemonade, so i was short about 2 glasses.
anyhow... I got on the scale this morning ( i couldn't resist ) and I'm down three pounds!!! Three whole pounds in one day?!!, mar-ve-lous!!!
I skipped the saltwater flush, I'm a little leery of that. But i did do the smooth move. I may have to buck up and do the saltwater flush b/c the smooth move time frame is so unpredictable. One cannot expect a movement for 6-12 hours, that's a big gap.
Oh well, pressing onward through day 2.

This is day 3 and I'm kinda hungry this morning, so I'm sipping on my lemonade right Now!The agave nectar taste soooo good, its like drinking a freshing cup of real lemonade. Agave nectar doesn't have a strong flavor like maple syrup. And it contains alot less calories than maple syrup, I'm already down 3.8lbs since Wednesday.
I didn't exercise last night, so I'm going to workout at work during my lunch hour.
Everyone have GOOD day...

Yeah, I'm gonna need distracting tomorrow since I'll be home all day :nono:. I'm planning to work on packing away all my winter clothes and digging out my spring/summer stuff.

My worst days tend to be day 1 and 2. Tomorrow is day 4 and I can't wait cuz my appetite should be gone.

I save the SWF for the weekends, that way if it upsets my stomach I don't have to go to work. I read somewhere you don't have to do the full 32oz. So, tomorrow I'm gonna see what happens with 16oz. I can get 2 cups down, its just the 3rd and 4th cup that give me a problem. Last time, I did a SWF it made me puke.

Yesterday...day #5 was bad bad bad. I wasn't hungry, but wanted to eat anyway just because I was bored and moody. It was tough getting thru that phase. The mind plays tricks on you. I kept saying to myself why can't I eat if I want to dang-it. Ugh.
Today woke up with a renewed committment. Definately sticking to my 10 days and maybe more just to prove to myself my WILL is strong.
I gave up coffee last month and I thought I would never be able to do that. I'm at a point now where I don't miss it and the aroma of a freshly brewed pot of java has no impact on me.
This is day #6 for me. Still trying to get some exercise in, but it's tough with my low energy level.
After my cleanse I may try Turbo Jam or Jillian Michaels dvds as there seems to be a couple of active support threads on this board.
Good luck everyone, it is not easy, but YOU CAN DO IT!

Your energy level should not be low, try drinking more lemonade. One of the things I like most about the Master Cleanse is my boost in energy. Last time it made me feel like the energizer bunny....:lachen:

Haven't been able to do the salt water flush all that much this week, because my day starts pretty early and usually out of the house before dawn.
So I just did a mid-morning swf and I must have lost another 5lbs from that alone...lol...jk
Anyway, it just goes to show how essential to the overall success of the Master Cleanse the swf is. Even if you can only get a cup down, it will have an affect.

Hi, I'm going to start doing this tomorrow - wish me luck. Does anyone know where I can get the supplies from in the UK? What are the benefits of honey VS agave? Thanks

Good Luck, girl --- you can do it...
The book doesn't recommend honey. New studies are saying that the agave nectar is a good alternative to maple syrup because they both contain a lot of vitamins and minerals. In fact, they are saying agave nectar is better because it has less calories and its glycemic index is lower. It’s probably not mentioned in the book because the facts on agave nectar were not available when the book was written.
I've been using the agave nectar this time around and it’s wonderful. Here is some nutritional info I found on maple syrup and agave nectar:
