So tempted to get this Firm system... but I don't believe the people on the TV... can anyone post the results they've seen and in what time frame they were acheived?

Take a look at my weight loss album titled the Ugly Truth:wink2:
PW is in my profile.
I used the first system that came out, not that rocker thing that's out now. I'm skeptical of that one. Whatever you do, don't order from firmdirect.com Theeir customer service has a horrible reputation.
Just a few days ago, I saw the system I used for $20 at Marshall's. It included the steps and a DVD of the workouts:thumbsup:

The firm is really great...I lost weight 25-30lbs(along with 1200 cal low fat diet) and lots of inches in about 10 weeks, of course you see results after about 3 wks if you're consistent..
I am with nickie6 about the older firm workouts, I had the best success with the fanny lifter...That new wave system is no good, IMO...Go to collagevideo.com for reviews...And it kinda looks unsafe..

I honestly don't remember my weighin numbers. Forgive me its been 4 years, but I see where I stated that I lost 12lbs and 1.5inches from my waist in the two months between July and September.
I do recall that I did not lose a lot of weight but I did drop at least 2 dress sizes. I would have had better results of I'd been stricter with my diet.
If you give this a try, with either the 'old school' Fanny Lifter or the newer Transfirmer, you WILL see results within 10 workouts!
Look around your local Marshall's and Ross stores. They carry the DVDs for under $10 and as I said before, I saw the Fanny Lifter set for $20 and the Transfirmer set for $30. You can also find the Transfirmer at Target but its $50 or $60 there.

I lost weight for my wedding using a combo of the Firm and Taebo. I used older firm tapes that use the high step and weights and got great results. I still use the firm on some days. As you get better at it you can up your weight and get great results. I"m sorry I don't have any pics. This was several years ago but I lost about 10 lbs. I would recommend one of the Firm series w/the fanny lifter or transfirmer. THe old school tapes are corny but effective.

I kept it off for more than 3 years. I started gaining weight last summer and I'm determined to get back to my fighting weight by Memorial Day:boxing:

I see the sticky. . . .but I was thinking about an actual 3 month challenge where people would volunteer & participate and we could all track our progress as a team.
. . . just a thought. . .

I've had the FIRM DVDs for a few months, but I'm yet to use them consistently. They can be hard to keep up with at first, but once you learn the sequences you get an excellent workout.
I just finished one and I was sweating the entire time, while doing most of the modified movements. I'm TIRED! :yep:
If I can stay consistent I'll have some results to brag on soon enough!

So. . . .
Who is going to start the actual challenge. I've never actually created/started a challenge before.
I think this should be a 3 month challenge starting April 1st (....I know, short notice).
We should list our starting weight (We don't have to post this, but update on amount lost)
We should take measurements (We don't have to post them)
We should take pics so we can have results to brag on (I've already taken mine.)

Yeah I really like the old tapes. I did Tough Tape today and it is no joke. I hadn't done it in years but I thought about if after coming into this thread.
