Just got this link from Holly (Author of Fit Yummy Mummy who had several of her success stories pics stolen promoting these pills). I'm glad it's getting mainstream attention. My friend Vilma had her pics stolen by these guys too:nono:

So, does the Acai berry even work for weight loss? Just curious.

I see Walmart is selling it. I knew it was to good to be true. If I have to wonder about something I'd rather not use it.

Its about time! I knew something wasn't right about that! Acai is an excellent antioxidant but all the other hoopla was just too much.

^^ I also heard it was very hyped up. Imo, there are a lot of so-called miracle products coming out because marketing people are preying on people's naivety and desperation. Personally, I believe there are so many "every-day" foods that are excellent for our health and don't cost a bomb. But to each their own...

My sister got scammed by this AFTER I told her that it was not good. She didn't listen and they tried to take $83 out of her account for a trial, before it was even over. Thankfully her bank stopped it before they got anything.
I really wish people would do their research and listen before they go for things like this. I was very angry at her for not listening.

I've never been interested in any Acai talk for weight loss. Now if we're talking antioxidants, I'm all for it. For some reason, I've never been intrigued to even look it up. Not that I couldn't do to lose the nagging ten pounds that have set up home and made it hard to fit into clothes. But I've never been fascinated by quick-results potions. Not for hair growth nor for weight loss. I heard about this scam in passing a while back. Then it was on the news earlier this week. I didn't report it coz I thought I was late in knowing this since I've sort of been ignoring the topic.
