Okay ladies, I decided to have another go at this. Please excuse the foundation. I didn't get a chance to return it. I tried to mix the Revlon Colorstay Cappuchino and Mac NW45, but as you can see it still didn't work. I'll keep searching.
Silly question: How do you know where to put the different colors of e/s. I've been using the lightest for the highlight, but what about the other colors. I wanted to use orange, gold, and brown color today, but wasn't sure where to put the different colors. Do you always put the dark color on the outside v? What about the other colors?
Here's what I used.
HIP e/s flare
Mac Expresso for eyebrow
Black Radiance Ginger blush
Loreal Raisin Lipgloss
Loreal Black kohl eye liner
Mac Prep N Prime
Mac concealer NW45
Maybelline mascara
I just wanted to mention again if you guys haven't used Loreal lipgloss, please dont' sleep on it. I have never worn a lipgloss that actually shows up as a color on my lips, and have it stay on for so many hours without reapplying. I LOVE it! The pics does not do it justice. It's a pretty wine color.
Here are the pics. You can't see the colors as good as yesterday. It's really subtle. (Excuse the line on my forehead. I had just taken off my scarf) Oh yeah..no amount of makeup or concealer can cover up the scar above my brow or hole from my nose ring. That nose ring was such a mistake!:wallbash: I have to clean up my eyebrows too.

You look so pretty!
The lightest color can be either a highlight or lid color (maybe a sheer wash over lid). The middle color can be the lid color and the darkest color would be your outter V and/or crease color or you can do a smokey look with the darkest color. It all depends on the look you're going for. It's all in how you want to do the look... 2 or 3 shadows are optional. You may want to just do a lid color and liner or a sheer color over your entire eye- lash line to brow and then cut that with a crease color. Play around with different applications of the colors to find out which you like the best.

Hey you guys HAIRapy pm'd me this info regarding the usage of more than 2 e/s. Thanks so much!! It totally makes it so much easier to understand the application.
Someone asked me the other day in PM about using 3 shadows and if she had to do it and I explained it to her. I just wanted to copy and paste it for you and hopefully it's helpful to you. This is how it was explained to me which made it very understandable for me.
"No you don't always have to, highlight and crease colors are optional. They just add dimension to your eye. The lid color is the star, you make it pop... somewhat. The crease is to make your eye lid look more pronouced-the crease looks like it's further back than your lid when you apply a darker color there- same with the outter V. The highlight is to make your browbone also look pronounced. Basically when you do all 3 is you are contouring your eye, just like people contour their nose or cheeks."

very pretty.
I love the lip color.
Is the revlon gloss the one in the glass tube? I used to use it but it made my lips itchy for some reason.

Out of all the crease colors I have, MAC Embark is my all-time favorite crease shadow for everyday and bolder looks too.

I am darker than you and I agree. For softer looks I use MAC saddle or Foilie.

You are pretty. I would be strategic in how I used the color because you can easily overwhelm your features, IMO.
I would first find a picture of someone using those colors in a manner you like and then emulate it.
There are many ways to wear the darkest shade. You can do crease work (the fleshy part between your brow bone and lid) or you can define the outer V only or you can keep it along your lash line only. You're not working with a whole lot of lid space so I would be strategic in how I applied the eye makeup. You want to enlarge not diminish.
For the color combo you listed I would probably do the gold on the inner half of the eye then a gradual blend to the orange on the outer half and the brown in the crease or along the lashes. So from gold to orange to brown. Usually and esp. with bright colors like that I would either use a very soft brow highlighter or skip it all together. A frosty brow bone IMO can look dated and on smaller eyes it highlights the brow bone thus making the eyes look smaller in contrast.

Another brown colorI have is Swiss Chocolate. I don't like it... it doesn't show up on me enough... it's basically the same color as my skin.
