What is a good suncreen to use that does not turn into that white/purplish hue when your face sweats? I don't know what the ingredient is in the sunscreen moisturizers I've used in the past that as soon as I put it on my face it begins to sweat off :perplexed. Last summer I used a spf moisturizer by Neutrogena and it sweated right off my face. I'd like something with at least spf 35.

Thanks!!!!

It's titanium dioxide in sunscreens that leaves that whitish hue. I used Arbonne Damage Control sunscreen and that doesn't leave a whitish cast, but it does make you appear oily so you will need some mineral powder to cut down the shine. I also use Xterra--my main sunblock--and it doesn't leave a whitish film on my skin, nor does it make me as shiny as Arbonne. I don't use powder with it.

I use Neutrogena Dry Touch. I'm not sure of the ingredients, but it doesn't leave that whitish look on my face. I've been using it for a long time, and I really like it.

My face sweats ridiculously easy in warmer weather and there are days when I'll just throw on my shades, sunblock, and keep it moving. I really just kinda want something that's sweat resistant :look:

I think Xterra will work for you. It's meant for athletes if I'm not mistaken. Isis recommended it to me and I haven't looked back. :yep:

I add a drop of foundation to my sunscreen to combat potential white streaks.

I use one of these 2. Shiseido Sun Block with SPF 50 is very sheer, light and absorbs quickly. It's also pricey. PSF (Pure Skin Formula) SPF 50 sunblock goes on heavier and whiter, but absorbs very, very quickly. I like it as much as the Shiseido and it's cheaper.. It doesn't have any silicones in it and makes my face shiny, so I follow up with Smashbox Photo finish to matte up.

Jane has a new tinted moisturizer with SPF 30. Costs like $9 at Walgreens.

You can't go wrong with Neutrogena Daily Defense Lotion. It comes in SPF 30 and 45, and it doesn't leave me with a whitish residue nor does it leave my skin oily.
