I had this one this morning. I got the recipe in my e-mail last week from Vita-Mix and decided to try it today! It's really good!
I don't know if it has been posted yet, but here it is! Great for beginners or people who don't like a strong leafy taste!
A good rule to follow is that the greens ( my favorite being Spinach leaves) should be about 50% of your ingredients. (statement from the Vita-mix website)
Ingredients:
- a few ice cubes
- 1/2 cup of water
- hand full of spinach
- a few pineapple chunks
- 1/2 apple with skins on
- red seedless grapes, a hand full
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 of an orange
- ½ a peach
I'm pretty sure it will work in a reagular blender or smoothie maker too.
