Ok I just got this idea from the "Off Topic" board. They just started a 100 day challenge where you go 100 days focusing on goals. The reason I'm starting one here is because I'm pretty sure the ladies there will have a plethora of goals they want to set for the next 100 days. I want mine to focus mainly on healt and fitness. So I was wondering if any ladies would like to join my challenge to get healthier in the next 100 days. The rules would be starting tomorrow, the 17th of February until 28th of May you will do the following:

1. Drink at least 64oz of water daily
2. Exercise 3-4 times week
3. No junk food (i.e candy, chips, icecream etc.)
4. No fast food
5. Take all vitamins and supplements daily

These are the rules I'm gonna follow but you're more than welcome to add (or subtract) from this list. We could start a check in every 2 weeks to report on progress (i.e weightloss, more energy, clearer skin etc.) and to just lend some support. So come join me ladies!!!

Here is the list of challengers:

That's my main problem. I always have to finish my plate, no matter how full I am. I have actually eaten myself sick a few times :nono:. But to combat this problem, it's good to just get smaller portions

i'd like to join in also. i will:

- Drink @ least 1 liter (32 oz) per day then build (i know, but i have to start small; don't want to drown my organs :lachen:)

- Eat fruit 2x a day incl frozen fruit ( my new found love)

- Eat my veggies 1x a day, i.e. salad for lunch (great tasting and not too filling)

- Slow down on the sweets ( i can't go cold turkey)

- Hit the gym or pavement 30-45 mins 6 days/week, incl my sauna time to shed a lil' more inches

- Reduce the amount of red meat I eat and sub with poultry and seafood

- And last, but not least, take my vitamins according to suggested dosage

Violations of my guidelines will be no LCHF and TV for one week. Don't seem harsh to you, but I know how I am. ADDICTED!!!:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

SO GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE

It's is Saturday the 21st for me and I have been in for 4 days now. I've managed to go to the gym for the past 4 days, I'll be taking a break on Sunday. My current weight is 180 and I'm off to a pretty good start. Again, I'd like to thank everyone who joined (if you joined after the 17th just tack on 100 days from your start date). Next check in is Saturday March 7th.

Yay, my cold is gone after exactly one week (just a few sniffles left - thanks Theraflu!!), so I'm beginning my 100 days today.

I'm currently 145lbs (at 5' 2") with a lot of fat in my belly and back areas. :nono:

Today, I did 4 miles on the treadmill (alternating walking and jogging, 2 miles before strength training and 2 miles after). 30 minutes of upper body strength training. I will do the 4 miles M-F, and will alternate days of upper and lower body strength training M-F. I'll have to grocery shop and stock up on fruits and veggies. I have my bottled water.

I'm ready! Best of luck to all of you...

2nd check in for me. I had many setbacks over the past 2 weeks so I didn't loose any weight. Energy was up when I was exercising, but once I stopped it went back down. I'm not giving up though

I've continued my workout routine and also began the Daniel Fast on 2/24. The fast has greatly helped me stay focused on what I eat. I won't weigh myself until the fast is over on 3/16. I'll make that my next check in.

Good for you Ladylends!!! When you fall off that horse, dust yourself off and get right back on. I've had a couple of setbacks myself, but I didn't beat myself up, or dwell it. Best of luck to you!

100 days seem to be such a big goal. I never make my goals when I set them so big. I'd love to join but I don't think I can hang. I'd rather take it one week at a time.

 I fell off bad, I'm so ashamed! I've been doing pretty well though the past 3 days. It's not enough, but as long as I'm smaller than I was when I started I'll be happy, even if it's only by a few pounds. I have been good with drinking water and taking vitamins but everything else only so-so. Why does junk food have to taste so good! This has been me literally for the past week or so :chocbunny:. I hope everyone else is doing better than me.

I actually fell off the Daniel fast a few days ago. I hadn't been back to the grocer, so I ended up eating smoked salmon and turkey sandwiches. I was SO disappointed in myself at first, and so scared that I'd fallen completely off with everything. But I was wrong. Through this fast, I've continued to be mindful of what I eat (although no longer fasting), exercise, read my bible daily and pray, and I also recommitted to going to church every Sunday! I think for me, the fast has served its purpose and is continuing to do so. We fall down, but we get up! As a plus, I lost 4 pounds, and have gotten into jeans I haven't worn in over a year! I also actually LIKE drinking water now. Who'd a thunk it???
